My healthcare career has spanned over 30 years, and it's an industry I'm still extremely passionate about working in, as every day is different and rewarding. My diverse career has given me a deep and broad understanding of the industry, which I use on a day-to-day basis.


My healthcare career began when I started working in a local family-run nursing home. I then went on to working in the local hospital in the intensive care unit, and then the local day centre for people with disabilities, before becoming a business manager for a 65-bed care home.


In 2019 I joined Active Care Group as a care co-ordinator to take a break from management, but within two years in 2021 I became the manager for Wales which I absolutely love!


I have an amazing team comprising of Care & Clinical Managers, Recruitment and Care Co-ordinators, and of course our wonderful support workers.


It is also the clients we support in the Welsh division who are truly inspirational and make my job worthwhile.
