I contacted aurora care just after Christmas for care to start in January the manager was really kind and friendly and came to see me in the same week which was extremely helpful as I needed the care to start asap
I have complex needs and the manager/care company found me carers that suites what I needed taken into account several factors including my autism
Carers have all gone above and beyond when with me and the care company is a really professional outfit they shadow of least the fist call with the carers if they are doing there first shift and go over everything from medication to medical dietary and mental health needs
I have had care for around 6/7 years and have experienced all types of care good and bad but Aurora have been nothing but professional proactive and helpful with my care and have given me a better way of life
When I have needed care that wasn't booked in they always have found me a carer that can help me inc hospital etc
Hi there. Thankyou so much for your very kind review. We are so glad that our support is helping you.
Mum had had some falls and after a trip to an and e was taken off her medication. She hadn't been eating so therefore I needed to make sure she was eating and hydrated and just her general wellbeing.
From the moment we had an initial chat to the care mum received it was first class cannot recommend them enough. Mum may need them in future and I would without doubt use them again in a heartbeat amazing amazing amazing
Thank you for your kind words and lovely review. We are so glad Mum benefit from our support and we so happy she has regained her independence!
Jodi , Rachel and Geraldine are all incredibly experienced and it really shows in the calm, patient, and respectful way they care for my Dad. There has been such a positive change in him! - he genuinely looks forward to their visits, and seeing the same familiar faces. They really understand what life is like for someone living with dementia and understand what my dad needs and just seem to handle everything so calmly and confidently which gives me such peace of mind.
They are reliable, professional, and genuinely kind. I'm very grateful for the support they provide and wouldn't hesitate to recommend them.
Hi there,
Many thanks for the lovely review. We are so pleased to hear that Dad looks forward to out Care Givers visiting and that you have seen such a positive change in him.
Aurora Community Care have been awesome. Mike came round to chat with us about their services. My Dad who was more hesitant than me, signed on the dotted line straight away . Mike had everything up and running pretty much straight away and when Dad needed someone to come and give him medication in the morning that was organised ASAP. Hilary and Rachel are lovely (you too Mike) and Dad is very happy. I'm going back to Australia knowing Dad is in good hands. Thanks guys, feel like I'm leaving him with family, I really do xxx
Hi there. Many thanks for the lovely review. It has been a real treat for us to work with you Dad too. We all really look forward to our visits and spending time with him.
Everything that we were told at the beginning has been delivered, such as if any new care givers were going to visit, they would always be introduced first. The care givers have been amazing, they are professional but personal as well, a very difficult thing to do.
The care package has been reviewed and we have made changes as Dad's needs have changed.
If I have any questions or need to give information, I get a response in very good time.
I am able to call and speak to the care giver when they are with Dad.
I can't find the words to explain how happy we are that we found Aurora, I feel that Dad is in very safe hands and Dad has been extremely happy with have care givers in to help him, which I am very surprised about as I thought it would be difficult for him, however, that is down to the care that he is getting.
Thank you so much to all of the team!
Terrifically helpful company have helped me look after my mum who has been in bed since Sept 25 after a hospital visit. They come once a day to clean and care for her and it takes a lot of pressure off me when I know so little about what to do. All the staff are friendly and helpful
Hi, a belated thanks for the review. It was a real pleasure for us to support Mum and keep her home safe for as long as possible.
It was only when she had a health setback and had to go into hospital and discharged to a nursing home that this care came to an end.
I can highly recommend this care agency and will refer them to anyone who needs care in the home.
Sally, Many thanks for your lovely review. We are so grateful you gave us the opportunity to support your friend. Those that worked with her felt truly blessed to have done so.
We've been using this care company to support my Dad at home, and from the very beginning they've been professional, sensitive, and genuinely caring. They took the time to come to our home, get to know us as a family, and gather all the important information. They even visited my Dad in hospital and spoke directly with his therapist to fully understand his needs.
I was especially grateful to Jodi, who asked thoughtful questions I would never have thought of myself. That really reassured us that Dad's care would be tailored to him.
We started with overnight carers and have been very impressed - it's given my Mum the chance to rest properly, knowing Dad is safe and well looked after. The carers have also taken the time to get to know Dad personally, showing an interest in what he enjoys and encouraging him to do things for himself, which has made a huge difference.
We've now added a couple of afternoon visits each week so Mum can get out, and once again the carers have been fantastic.
Thank you so much for your kind words - it truly means the world to all of us. Supporting your dad, and your family as a whole, has been a real privilege. From the very first visit, it was clear how much love surrounds him, and we've just tried to build on that with care that feels as personal as...
This service has far exceeded my expectations; all tasks have been carried out so well without being intrusive. My life has been made a lot easier.
Hi there . Thankyou so much for your lovely words. It's been a real privilege to support you and I am so happy to read that we are making life a little easier for you.
Professional and friendly service with everything undertaken with care and consideration. Visits were planned to fit in with my hospital appointment and were always carried out on time. I would recommend this service to others.
Thanks so much for your lovely review! We're so pleased we could be there for you -wishing you continued good health!
I started using Aurora Community Care for weekly assistance with my household cleaning at the start of June 2025. I am delighted with the service I receive and will certainly be continuing with them. Thanks to the team for ensuring that everything runs like clockwork.

I’m Jodi, the Registered Care Manager at Aurora Community Care. I don’t see care as a service — I see it as a responsibility. Every person we support is treated with dignity, patience and respect I would expect for my own family.
I hold a Level 5 Diploma in Leadership for Health & Social Care and lead our service across Worthing, Goring-by-Sea, Littlehampton, Steyning, Storrington and surrounding areas. I am a visible, hands-on manager. I personally meet families, carry out detailed assessments and ensure care plans are genuinely person-centred — shaped around individual routines, preferences, life history and goals. The people we support are always involved in decisions about their care, because this is their home and their life.
Safety underpins everything we do. I oversee safeguarding, robust risk assessments, medication governance (including MAR audits), incident reviews and reflective learning. I carry out regular spot checks, supervisions and competency observations to ensure our Care Givers consistently deliver safe, compassionate and professional support. If something isn’t right, I address it immediately. If something can be improved, we improve it.
We recruit for values as much as experience. Kindness, reliability and integrity are non-negotiable. Our Care Givers are carefully vetted, trained and continuously supported, because trust is everything when someone is caring for you in your own home.
We work closely with families, GPs, community nurses and other professionals to ensure care is coordinated and responsive. Communication is open and honest, and I remain accountable and accessible. Being CQC-ready is not something we prepare for — it’s how we operate every day.
I am deeply passionate about enabling people to remain safe, independent and respected at home. We don’t just provide visits — we build meaningful relationships, protect dignity and go above and beyond to make a genuine difference.
I’m Ann, Director at Aurora Community Care and Mum of owner Mike. We all want to provide the kind of care we want for our own mother, so I really am the perfect "Mum Test" !!
My job is to make sure our service is safe, reliable and exactly what we’ve promised — every visit, every time. As a family-run provider serving Worthing, Goring-by-Sea, Littlehampton, Steyning, Storrington and nearby villages, I focus on the things that give families confidence: strong governance, safer recruitment, clear communication and zero drama.
