This is a second review - Dad has now had carers for about 9 weeks and we are just as pleased now as we were in the first week.
Everything that we were told at the beginning has been delivered, such as if any new care givers were going to visit, they would always be introduced first. The care givers
have been amazing, they are professional but personal as well, a very difficult thing to do.
The care package has been reviewed and we have made changes as Dad's needs have changed.
If I have any questions or need to give information, I get a response in very good time.
I am able to call and speak to the care giver when they are with Dad.
I can't find the words to explain how happy we are that we found Aurora, I feel that Dad is in very safe hands and Dad has been extremely happy with have care givers in to help him, which I am very surprised about as I thought it would be difficult for him, however, that is down to the care that he is getting.

Terrifically helpful company have helped me look after my mum who has been in bed since Sept 25 after a hospital visit. They come once a day to clean and care for her and it takes a lot of pressure off me when I know so little about what to do. All the staff are friendly and helpful

This agency provided the most excellent care to my friend. They treated her with the upmost respect and soon became friends with her. My friend enjoyed their visits and company and many a laugh was had between them. Having this care in her home meant my friend was able to stay in the home she loved.
After each visit I received a report on what they had done so I had contact with them every day. If I needed to ask a question I only had to email them and they answered very quickly.
It was only when she had a health setback and had to go into hospital and discharged to a nursing home that this care came to an end.
I can highly recommend this care agency and will refer them to anyone who needs care in the home.

We've been using this care company to support my Dad at home, and from the very beginning they've been professional, sensitive, and genuinely caring. They took the time to come to our home, get to know us as a family, and gather all the important information. They even visited my Dad in hospital and
spoke directly with his therapist to fully understand his needs.


I was especially grateful to Jodi, who asked thoughtful questions I would never have thought of myself. That really reassured us that Dad's care would be tailored to him.


We started with overnight carers and have been very impressed - it's given my Mum the chance to rest properly, knowing Dad is safe and well looked after. The carers have also taken the time to get to know Dad personally, showing an interest in what he enjoys and encouraging him to do things for himself, which has made a huge difference.


We've now added a couple of afternoon visits each week so Mum can get out, and once again the carers have been fantastic.

I’m Jodi, Aurora Community Care’s Registered Manager. My job is simple: make sure every visit is safe, kind and genuinely useful. I hold a Level 5 Diploma (NVQ) in Leadership for Health & Social Care, and I lead our service across Worthing, Goring-by-Sea, Littlehampton, Steyning, Storrington and nearby villages.


I personally meet families, complete thorough assessments, and put clear, outcome-focused care plans in place. Day to day, I oversee safeguarding, risk assessments, medication practice (including MAR audits), incident reviews and learning. I recruit for values, verify references and DBS, and make sure every Care Giver is trained, observed and supervised—not just once, but continuously. If something isn’t safe, we won’t do it. If something can be improved, we fix it fast.


My approach is straightforward: person first, task second. We plan around routines, preferences and goals so people can live well at home—whether that’s a short welfare check, help with personal care, or complex, overnight support. Families get honest updates, consistent faces and realistic schedules. We work closely with GPs, community nurses and therapists so support is joined-up, not piecemeal.


I’m proud to lead a family-run service that’s CQC-ready every day: regular spot checks, supervisions, data protection taken seriously, and policies that actually live in practice. The standard is simple—care I’d be happy for my own family to receive.
