GoodOaks have now been caring for my husband for 2 months. He has worsening dementia, and the level of care he receives is exceptional. We engaged another company previously and were less than pleased, with different carers every visit who ticked off a list of tasks and barely spoke to either of us. This experience with GoodOaks has been a world away from that, and the small team who look after my husband are simply wonderful. I've already recommended them to a dear friend, and gladly do so here.

GoodOaks Homecare Maidenhead and Windsor have been supporting our grandfather near Holyport, and we've been really pleased with the care they've provided. He's built a genuine rapport with his carers and is settled, comfortable, and able to remain independent in his own home - which is exactly what he wanted. The fact that GoodOaks have made that possible means a great deal to all of us as a family. The team are professional, kind, and clearly take a high standard of care seriously. From our very first conversation, we felt we were dealing with people who genuinely knew what they were doing and who really cared about getting things right.
I wouldn't hesitate to recommend GoodOaks to anyone in the Maidenhead, Windsor, or Holyport area who is considering care at home.

We went through everything together trying to sort care for our aunt and I remember just completely overwhelmed by it all. Live-in care felt like such a big step. We didn't really know what we were looking for or whether we were making the right call.

We went through everything together trying to sort care for our aunt and I remember just completely overwhelmed by it all. Live-in care felt like such a big step. We didn't really know what we were looking for or whether we were making the right call. What I'll say is the carer they found for her is just perfect. I visited last month and my aunt had clearly been telling her all about our family - she knew who everyone was before I even introduced myself. That sounds like a small thing but it isn't. It means she's actually listening to her, not just looking after her.
My aunt has always been fiercely independent. A real 'I'm fine, don't fuss' type. But now she is better than fine actually. She's in her own home, her own chair, watching what she wants on the telly. The carer just fits around her life rather than the other way round. I couldn't recommend GoodOaks highly enough.

And keeping that independence intact while still being properly looked after is exactly the balance we aim for.

Just wanted to leave a review because honestly we weren't sure what to do when Grandad needed help at home in Holyport and GoodOaks were brilliant from the start. Really easy to talk to from day one and you can tell the care side is taken seriously - the nursing background behind the service was really reassuring for us as a family. The carers have been lovely with Grandad and he's settled in really well with them. He's still in his own home which is what he wanted and that means a lot.
Would 100% recommend to anyone in the Maidenhead or Windsor area looking for care at home. Brilliant service.

I have nothing but praise for this company. I have regularly changed times, cancelled shifts at short notice and nothing is too much trouble for them. The carers have been very carefully selected for their values, empathy and utmost professionalism, They are kind, punctual, caring and have the most infectious personalities that always bring a smile to my elderly disabled mum. I can't thank Jack and the team enough for the exceptional levels of care they continue to provide for my dad. He is visually impaired so having new people coming into his home can feel quite daunting but from day one they have done everything possible to reassure him and build a supportive relationship with him. Dad feels comfortable and happy. The care they provide is person centered and they've taken the time to really get to know him. Nothing is too much trouble. I also feel supported, knowing I can trust them to help keep on top of things like his medication or any health issues when I can't be there.
I would highly recommend GoodOaks Homecare if you are looking for care in the Maidenhead area. They truly care for their clients.

My Nan was struggling at home for several months. We didn't really know what to do - the honest truth is we'd started looking at care homes because we didn't know there was another option. We got in touch with GoodOaks and spoke to Jack. He wasn't trying to sell us anything. He just asked her a lot of questions - and actually listened to her answers. He made sure she was part of the conversation the whole way through, not just us. By the end of it we had a much clearer picture of what live-in care could actually look like day to day. We were a bit nervous going into it but honestly it's worked out really well. Her carer has settled in and just knows how she likes things done. She still feels like it's her home, which was the big thing for us.
If you're in the position we were in - looking at care homes and thinking that's the only choice - I'd say speak to GoodOaks first. Wish we'd found them sooner.

I can't rate GoodOaks Homecare highly enough. Our aunt needed live-in care and we were so worried about finding the right home care agency but these people have been absolutely wonderful. The live-in carer (she'd prefer I don't name her here) is brilliant - genuinely caring, really patient, and our aunt is so comfortable with her. It's the companionship and feeling respected in her own home as much as the personal care that makes the difference. She's still in her own home, still happy, and that means the world to us. Jack and the team are always easy to get hold of and keep the family in the up to speed without us having to follow them. Just really well run.
If you need live-in care in the Maidenhead or Windsor area, honestly just go with GoodOaks. Proper person-centred care from good people.

I cannot speak highly enough GoodOaks who have been supporting my grandad over the past two months. From the start, their professionalism, compassion, and dedication have been clear.
My grandad has very complex care needs, and we have had one live-in carer supporting him. The care provided has been exceptional. They go above and beyond to meet not only his physical needs but also his emotional wellbeing, always treating him with dignity, patience, and kindness. The genuine connection they've built with him has made a huge difference to his comfort and happiness.
Communication with the company has been excellent throughout. We've always felt informed, reassured, and confident that he is in safe hands. The reliability and support behind the scenes have given us real peace of mind.
We are incredibly grateful for everything they have done and would highly recommend them to anyone looking for outstanding care!

Jack is a Registered Nurse and Director of GoodOaks Homecare Maidenhead and Windsor. He moved to the UK from Ireland to train in Adult Nursing and has spent his career caring for people at their most vulnerable, first as an A&E nurse at Croydon University Hospital and other emergency departments, then as an Ambulance Nurse with South Central Ambulance Service based in Slough.
Working nights on the frontline showed Jack how much difference reliable, personalised care makes to older people and their families. It is why he built a nurse-led service where continuity, compassion and clinical judgement come as standard. He is an Advanced Life Support instructor with the Resuscitation Council UK, and he personally trains and supports the small team he has hand-picked.

Years of ambulance shifts across Slough, Windsor and Maidenhead took him into homes right across the patch, often meeting people at their most frightening moments and getting them the help they needed.
