GoodOaks came to our rescue in July of this year and only because of a positive turnaround in our needs, we have just parted company. I would have no hesitation in recommending Ed, Lynn and their team. Professional, experienced, genuinely kind and caring, quick to respond and thorough in every aspect of care, they made me feel confident and comfortable in supporting Dad. When we went from hourly day care to live-in, the difference it made to my father was tenfold. Both Tia and Anne-Marie couldn't have been more lovely, great company, great cooks, very good cleaners and discreet when they felt Dad might need space or if family were around. Ed and Lynn sometimes popped in even when they didn't need to, just to check in on Dad. Ed kept in good communication with me, with updates on decisions, conversations and queries where appropriate.
It was a very positive experience and we will go straight back to GoodOaks in the future, should we need to.

She helped with cleaning and household tasks, which was a huge relief while my mobility was limited. She also took me on outings. Before moving into homecare, Ed built a career in senior customer experience roles for well-known national and international brands, including Pret A Manger. That experience shaped his belief that excellent care starts with listening properly, understanding each person as an individual and delivering consistently high standards.
Ed brings that same focus to GoodOaks, where the aim is to provide dependable, compassionate care that families can feel confident in. He is especially passionate about helping people stay connected to the homes, routines and communities they know and love.
