Visiting Angels not only enabled my mum to remain at home during the last few months of her life, but their visits bought joy and even laughter to an increasingly sad situation. They also helped my brother and I deal with the inevitability of mum passing by us knowing that at times when we couldn't be there, they would have visited and bought a smile to mum's face. Their professionalism was exemplary, both at management and individual carer level. We received consistent carers who built up honest and open relationships with mum and the wider family. We know that there were cheaper options for care and towards the end of mums life we did receive frequent visits from NHS providers but the personal attention to detail from Visiting Angels was worth every penny. In reflecting on mums final weeks I know we did everything to abide by her wishes to remain at home and could only have done that with the engagement of Visiting Angels.
