Evelyn Grace delivers a home care service from 07.00 to 22.00, 7-days a week and 365-days a year. They offer a competitive hourly rate of pay with weekend and Bank Holiday enhancements. They pay an exceptional mileage rate to support their team to manage the fuel costs. Full training is provided over a 16-week induction period, ensuring every carer meets the 15 standards required to achieve the Care Certificate. New starters are buddied with experienced members of the team as they shadow calls in their initial weeks, while being mentored by the Staff Care Manager throughout.
The requirements of the caring role include medication administration, using safe minimal handling techniques, giving personal care, supporting a client with light household duties, and offering conversation and companionship. The carer will need to be able to work independently, taking initiative, as well as working within the team as a double up care provider.
