As a Home Care Assistant, you will play a crucial role in helping their clients maintain independence and improve their quality of life. You will provide a range of personal care and support services in clients' homes, adhering to the highest standards of care and professionalism.
Key Responsibilities
Personal Care: Assist with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
Healthcare Support: Administer medications and monitor health conditions.
Household Tasks: Perform light housekeeping duties, including cleaning, laundry, and meal preparation.
Companionship: Provide emotional support and engage clients in social activities.
Care Planning: Collaborate with the care team to develop and implement personalised care plans.
Qualifications and Skills
Experience in caregiving essential; training provided.
Compassionate and empathetic nature with a genuine desire to help others.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Reliable, punctual, and committed to high standards of care.
Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and evenings.
