Job Summary

We are on a mission to reinvent the future of care, so communities are supported to thrive, and all members of the care ecosystem are valued.

We are looking to recruit a Personal Assistant to provide 1-1 support for a young woman in Oxford.

To ensure their comfort and wellbeing this role is only open to Female candidates.

Here at BelleVie Care, we are looking for people who know how a simple cuppa can warm the heart. That the power of a compliment can make someone’s day. By just holding a hand, teasing out a smile, or sharing a laugh can mean the world to someone.

It’s this compassion and hidden talent that you don’t think are worth putting on a cv, the parts of you that never really get to shine in your current job, the skills you don’t even know are perfect for care, that we seek out so we can ensure that the people we support can live their best lives.

If you’re someone whose warmth and kindness shines through, and who embraces their local community spirit we’d love to hear from you. Because, these are the things we value too. Be part of the community that values all of you. Be part of BelleVie Care.

Responsibilities and Duties

What would you actually do as a Personal Assistant?

The PA will support the individual to maintain her independence while studying Biomedical Science at University.

Support will include:

  • Approximately 7.5 hours per week part time role (this could increase if you also wanted to pick up domiciliary care shifts supporting other clients but that isn't essential).
  • Flexibility to support additional hours occasionally depending on health, university commitments or appointments.
  • Morning support to get up, organised and ready for university.

- Visiting train stations or train-related outings.

- Cheerleading activities where appropriate.

- Playing Nintendo Switch.

- Visiting cafe?s, shops or other community activities.

  • Keep learning and developing individually and as a team so we can keep improving and be the best we can be.
  • If you would like to cover shifts supporting our other clients that is also an option, although it is not essential.

If you have never done support work before – we will provide you with all of the training and support you need. We hire people based on values, personality and attitude rather than experience.

If you have worked in support before – we will provide you with all the training and structures you need to work differently.
