Support Worker 24 Hour care - Sleep Night

We have 2 lovely ladies to support living in Pershore in their own home. Clients have learning difficulties. (female carers only due to personal care) must be a driver.

This is a great position for someone that would like to make a difference to one individual. Work within a small team to provide wrap around care for the clients.

Caremark Worcester & Malvern Hills is looking for an experienced, compassionate Care Assistant to join a dedicated team supporting 2 lovely ladies with learning disabilities.

You will work closely with the clients in their own home, providing consistent, person-centred support and helping them live fulfilling and independent lives.

About the role

• Days with sleep nights.
• Full-time hours available
• Minimum availability of two shifts per week
• One-to-one support throughout each shift
• Clients based in Pershore

About you

We are looking for someone who is:

• Experienced in care and confident supporting people with learning disabilities
• Bubbly, positive and friendly
• A self-starter who can work confidently and use their initiative
• Reliable, compassionate and professional
• A good communicator with a great sense of humour
• Committed to building trusting relationships and providing consistent care

Essential requirements

Please apply only if you have:

• Previous care experience
• A full UK driving licence
• Access to your own vehicle, due to the clients’ rural locations
• A good standard of spoken and written English
• The right to work in the UK

Your responsibilities

Depending on each client’s individual needs, your role may include:

• Personal care
• Medication administration, once trained and authorised
• Meal preparation
• Companionship and emotional support
• Supporting social activities and community visits
• Light domestic duties
• Promoting independence, dignity and choice

Pay and benefits

• £12.82 per hour
• £25.64 per hour on public holidays
• 28 days’ holiday per year, inclusive of Bank Holidays
• Full nurse-led training for each client’s specific needs
• Ongoing support from our friendly Caremark team
