Care Assistant

We’re looking for kind, caring and dependable people to join our Outstanding-rated 1st Homecare team in Leighton Buzzard.

As a Care Assistant, you’ll support people in their own homes to remain independent and continue living life their way. Your role could include helping with personal care, preparing meals, medication support, companionship, shopping and everyday activities – but just as importantly, you’ll be providing a friendly face and someone our clients can rely on.

New to care? That’s absolutely fine. Previous care experience isn’t essential – it’s who you are that matters. If you’re compassionate, reliable and genuinely enjoy helping others, we’ll provide the training and support you need.

What we offer:

• £14.43 per hour on weekdays
• £15.85 per hour at weekends
• Enhanced rates for Bank Holidays
• 35p per mile mileage allowance

We’re particularly interested in hearing from people who can offer evening and/or weekend availability.

As our Care Assistants travel between clients in the local community, a full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle are required.
