Very supportive and communictatve staff. Serve my mothers needs perfectly. Reassuring from my point of view for here to have alternative contact on a weekly basis and to be available for short trips out when I/we cannot fit it in.

1st Homecare provide daily care for my mother-in law, I couldn't ask for a friendly more caring team to do this. Mum especially loves seeing Lucy, who always makes her laugh and feels more like a friend than a carer. That connection means so much to us.

Recently, Mum had a fall and was admitted to hospital, so I had to cancel her carers at very short notice. Vicky, Ann-Marie, and Lisa were incredibly understanding throughout Mum's stay. They placed her package on hold without any fees and showed genuine concern for her recovery and wellbeing.

They are not just carers, they are outstanding people who make a real difference every day in both Mum's life and mine. The support and care they provide are truly exceptional.

The carers are good. They usually arrive near the scheduled time. (Usually +/- 15 minutes). However the scheduled time varies dramatically. Last night it was 8pm and the morning was 9:10. A total of 13 hours in bed. Tonight it is 10.05pm and tomorrow morning it is 7:10. A total of 9 hours in bed a difference of 4 hours. I prefer about 11 hours in bed +/- 30 minutes.

They are good at looking after me and feeding me.

She has a great deal of common sense and good communication skills. We have 100% confidence in her. She is outstanding.

You will see below that we have given you 5 stars for everything apart from value for money where we gave you a 4 We believe double time rate on Bank Holidays is excessive. We feel it should be time and a half

We have been delighted and thankful for the care we receive for my father by 1st Homecare via Abby. She is highly professional and extremely caring and patient. She knows my dad extremely well and respects his wishes whilst at the same time achieving the end goal. She has loads of common sense and can be relied upon to manage the day to day tasks within the house. Abby is always upbeat and positive and has a great sense of humour. We are very grateful she has been a constant presence for over 2 years.

1st Homecare attended my mother at home and without exception were both compassionate and extremely helpful, and never missed a visit. Both my parents need some care. My mother has Parkinson's and has mobility issues. My father has onset dementia. Our current carer Bella is a breath of fresh air. She is efficient without being intrusive. She has running themes going on between herself and my father and there is laughter.

The administrative arrangements are also very good with quick and helpful responses to queries. We will have no hesitation in continuing to make use of 1st Homecare's services.

Whilst I was not involved directly in the decision to use 1st Homecare I have to say that having now met the carer and seen first hand how she looks after my Mother in Law I am very happy with the decision to use them, especially based on the standard of care provided. Normally a fiercely independent woman I had expected she would find the presence of new people in her home a challenge but almost immediately those concerns vanished as the carers are so good with her she seems to genuinely enjoy their company and its as if they are now old friends visiting rather than carers.

After some difficult experiences with previous agencies, it has been such a relief to finally find a team we can truly trust. So pleased with how mum has been looked after since contacting first home care for support. From the initial contact everything has been smooth and reassurance given. I was with mum when a carer arrived one morning and just listening to them both chatting and the required support given was actually a pure relief that I could trust the team chosen for mum.

The admin and management team have always been very efficient, helpful and extremely patient with our family and situation. Quick to respond to emails and phone calls, all carers who attend to my parents are very good at what they do. Very professional and caring. We're so glad they are a part of their daily care.
