1st Homecare attended my mother at home and without exception were both compassionate and extremely helpful, and never missed a visit. We only stopped using them as my mother was admitted to hospital and then to a nursing home. The carer reports on the website were also extremely detailed and helpful.

Both my parents need some care. My mother has Parkinson's and has mobility issues. My father has onset dementia. Our current carer Bella is a breath of fresh air. She is efficient without being intrusive. She has running themes going on between herself and my father and there is laughter.

We have been using 1st Homecare and have found their service to be first class. The carers provide not only excellent technical care but also pleasant social support for my wife. The administrative arrangements are also very good with quick and helpful responses to queries. We will have no hesitation

We have used 1st home care for some overnight stays as well as regular day time visits over several years. Staff are kind and efficient and respect my husband and his concerns I always know he is safe with them.. Very happy to recommend their services

We've used 1st Homecare a couple of times now to support my elderly parents while they were having difficulties in supporting themselves.
Everyone I encountered was professional, caring and accommodating and I knew my parents were in good hands every day. Nothing was too much trouble for them or "out
of scope" and the only thing I needed to do was read the daily reports (which were always completed swiftly) to get an update. I'd also like to recognise the office/management team for their support and help.
We won't hesitate to use them again if the need arises.

Keeping Mum safe and happy at home is our top priority. Finding 1st Homecare (Oxford) has been so important to our family. They looked after Dad so well during the last six months of his life and have been providing wonderful regular care for Mum for six years. The communication with the local manager
is excellent and her home monitoring visits are extremely valuable to ensure the care plan can be adapted to match Mum's needs. The carers are friendly, caring and very respectful. Mum looks forward to seeing them. The opportunity to give feedback after every visit is very helpful. If you are looking for a high standard of homecare I recommend you ask 1st Homecare.

Mum has been a client of 1st Homecare for a couple of years, initially engaging domiciliary care, but more recently, live-in care.
All carers have been wonderful. They are respectful, caring and attend to Mum's needs as family members. Neither Mum nor I could wish for anything more; this is vital for
me, as I do not live locally.

I would like to express my thanks to one staff member in particular in the Oxford office for all her hardwork and dedication, she certainly went over and above to help greatly with the continuing live in care for my cousin.
Also my thanks to another member of staff for providing that care to my cousin,

The carers who go in to take care of my sister are very caring and kind. The office staff are responsive to any concerns and because they also go in and do home visits they have a good understanding of the real situation. They are making it possible for my sister to remain in her home.

My Mother has been with 1st Homecare (Oxford) since mid January and she has built up a warm connection and trust with all of them. She couldn't do without them. They do an excellent job are very friendly and chatty which we really like and share a little of their lives with us. They have started to
do one or two other jobs to help without hesitation. The office are hugely efficient and helpful and always happy to help whenever possible.

I was very impressed with the live-in care provided. It had a very positive effect on my dad and the carers quickly formed a real bond with him. There was suddenly a lot of laughter in the house which was a pleasure to hear and thanks to the carers patience and perseverance, dad has eaten more in the
last couple of weeks than I can remember being the case for many years.

The carers that I have come in are very helpful and thoughtful and will help me out with the care I need to have, they are welcoming and easy to get on with, and they are very good at timekeeping ie, coming on time for my visits and they are polite to the rest of my family.

Very good communication between the office and the family.
I completely rely on the carers to let me know what provisions my Uncle needs as he has no family local to him. On the whole they do a great job caring for him especially when he doesn't want to cooperate!
Having the carers gives me peace
of mind that medication is taken, meals are prepared and the flat is kept clean - thank you.

An excellent experience. The carers that Mum has have been wonderful and she speaks very highly of them.
They are happy to help her with almost anything when they visit. Altogether, we've been very fortunate to find 1st Homecare, and I'd happily recommend them to anyone.

Since Easter 2023 1st Homecare has sent assistants to help my 101 year old father, when he returned to his home after a short hospital stay.
The assistance of the care teams made it possible for him to continue living independently.
He enjoys seeing new faces and we all appreciate the efficiency of
the teams and very importantly their kindness. With the daily visits, we have seen his general health improve as he recovered from his illness in the spring.
The carers are so helpful with his domestic and medical needs and a big shout-out to the person who managed to fix his TV sound bar problem!
When there are changes to my father's routines, 1st Homecare have always been flexible and responsive.
Caring for my very ill husband means I cannot look after my father every day, so 1st Homecare makes my life easier, as well as my father's!

We have used this company for some time. To begin with, we had sitters twice a week, and have now had a live-in carer for almost 5 months. She has looked after both of us entirely to our satisfaction and we have been very happy indeed with our experience. I have already recommended the company to a

The team at 1st Homecare really are lovely. They are unfailingly cheerful, helpful, supportive and are flexible if I need to book extra sessions, even at short notice. It’s so reassuring to know that Mum has such lovely carers visiting her.

1st Homecare have been supporting my mother for over 2 years. I have found them to be completely reliable and always attend when planned. They are also very flexible with changes in requirements. Mum has generally been happy with the carers and appreciates the company. The carers have been sensitive
to Mum’s desire for independence and work around some of her reluctance to have someone help her. They have often helped her with extras such as shopping, gardening, sorting out computer issues, etc. We couldn’t have kept Mum at home without them!
