Churchfields Home Care is looking for compassionate Care Workers to join our friendly and supportive team, providing high-quality care to people in their own homes across Barry, Dinas Powys, Sully and Penarth.
Our aim is simple – to support people to remain safe, happy and independent in their own homes, while treating every person with the dignity, respect and kindness we would want for our own family.
What does a Care Worker do?
No two days are exactly the same. Depending on the individual you're supporting, your role may include:

Providing companionship and emotional support

Helping with personal care, washing and dressing

Supporting with medication

Preparing meals and drinks

Helping with mobility

Supporting clients with shopping or appointments

Carrying out light household tasks

Encouraging independence and helping clients continue doing the things they enjoy

Providing reassurance and a friendly face to clients and their families
Sometimes the smallest things – making someone a cup of tea, having a chat or simply taking the time to listen – can make the biggest difference.
No previous care experience? No problem!
For us, having the right values and attitude is just as important as previous experience.

- as full training and support are provided. All Care Workers must hold or work towards a QCF Level 2 in Health & Social Care. Churchfields Home Care will support successful applicants to enrol and apply for available funding.
