Shift & Schedule: Day shifts across a maximum of 4 days per week, including some weekends
Typical Shifts: 8:00am–4:00pm / 8:00am–6:00pm
Driver: Full UK Manual Driving Licence essential
A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Female Personal Assistant / Support Worker to join a small, established team supporting a 39-year-old woman in her own home and out in the community.
This is a varied and rewarding role supporting someone with epilepsy, sensory needs and non-verbal communication to live an active, fulfilling and independent life.
Our client has a real passion for art, poetry, yoga, museums, galleries, National Trust visits, nature walks, swimming, the gym, theatre, cinema and trips away. We are therefore looking for someone energetic, engaging and genuinely interested in building a long-term relationship with her.
For this role, personality and compatibility are just as important as previous care experience.

Salary & Benefits:
- £14.50 per hour
- Permanent 36-hour contract
- 5.6 weeks annual leave
- Fortnightly pay
- Maximum 4 working days per week
- Rota provided approximately one month in advance
- Full client-specific training provided
- Client vehicle provided for community activities
- Activity and entry costs covered while supporting the client
- Join an incredibly stable PA team, with several members having supported the client for over 10 years
- Varied role with regular activities, days out and new experiences
- Supporting a 39-year-old woman with epilepsy and sensory needs
- Supporting communication through typing and other communication aids
- Personal care including showering and toileting
- Medication administration
- Recognising and responding to the client's individual seizure presentation
- Supporting safe food preparation and mealtimes
- Community support is provided on a 2:1 basis
- Encouraging an active lifestyle and meaningful activities
- Driving the client's manual Ford Kuga when accessing the community
- Working alongside an experienced and long-standing PA team
- No hoisting required – the client is fully mobile
- Day shifts initially, with the possibility of some night support in the future once fully trained and confident
- Female Personal Assistant / Support Worker required
- Full UK Manual Driving Licence essential
- Calm, patient and confident under pressure
- Active and comfortable walking for extended periods
- Excellent communication skills
- Comfortable providing personal care and medication support
- Reliable and genuinely looking for a long-term permanent role
- Able to work some weekends as part of the rota
- Non-smoker / non-vaper
- Previous experience in care, epilepsy or complex care is desirable but not essential for the right person
- Willing to learn – full in-house training is provided around epilepsy, communication and sensory needs
