Care Assistant - Lancing - Guaranteed Hours Available

Please note: this role is open to female applicants only. This is an occupational requirement under the Equality Act 2010 (Schedule 9, Part 1), because the role involves intimate personal care for clients who have asked to be cared for by women.

You will need: a full UK driving licence and your own car (insured for business use), the right to work in the UK (we cannot offer visa sponsorship), good spoken and written English, and to live in or near Lancing.

GoodOaks Home Care, Sussex South is rated Good by the CQC (April 2026). We are looking for kind, reliable people to visit older people in their own homes around Lancing and help them stay safe, happy and independent.

What you will earn

• Weekdays: £14 an hour
• Weekends: £16 an hour, or £17 an hour when you give us guaranteed weekend availability
• Time and a half on bank holidays
• Mileage paid between visits

Your hours

• Guaranteed paid hours based on your availability, up to 20 hours a week

No experience? That is fine. Full paid training, paid DBS check, holiday pay and pension, and career development with a friendly local team. What we cannot train is kindness, and that is what we look for.
