Home Care Assistant

This is a self-employed domiciliary care role, offering flexibility to select shifts that suit your availability. 

As a Domiciliary Care Worker, you will provide compassionate, person-centred care in clients’ own homes, supporting them to maintain their independence, dignity and quality of life. 

Shift Patterns:

• Morning Shift: 6:30 AM – 2:30 PM
• Evening Shift: 3:30 PM – 10:30 PM

Pay Rates Domiciliary Care:

• Before probation: £14.00/hr (weekdays) | £15.00/hr (weekends)
• After probation: £14.25/hr (weekdays) | £15.25/hr (weekends)

Bank Holiday Rates:

• Before probation: £18.00/hr
• After probation: £20.00/hr

Your responsibilities include: 

• Assisting with personal care, including washing, dressing, toileting and grooming 
• Supporting meal preparation, nutrition and hydration 
• Prompting or assisting with medication in line with care plans and company policy 
• Providing companionship, reassurance and emotional support 
• Helping with everyday household tasks to maintain a clean, safe and comfortable home 
• Supporting clients with mobility, daily routines and independent-living tasks 
• Following individual care plans and reporting changes in a client’s health or wellbeing accurately
