Care Assistant

Beaumont Home Care are looking for individuals who can commit to a full-time position to make a real difference to the lives of others. 

The role would suit someone who is able to commit to starting at 7:00am or ending at 10:00pm each day. 

If you are a kind, caring, enthusiastic, energetic individual who would like to join a small, professional, friendly, private, family-run Care Provider, then we have an incredible opportunity for you. We are looking for Care Assistants to work full-day shifts, supporting people in their own homes from morning to evening. Working a full day lets you get to know the people you support and provide consistent, personal care that fits their routines and preferences. You will follow each person’s care plan, help them stay independent, and give families confidence that their loved one is in safe, caring hands.

Valid UK Driving licence and access to Own Vehicle is essential 

Key responsibilities 

• Help people get ready in the morning and settle comfortably in the evening, including washing, bathing, showering, dressing and personal care, with privacy and dignity 

• Prepare meals and drinks throughout the day, and support people to eat and drink well 

• Support with medication, as trained and in line with the care plan 

• Help with mobility, including moving safely around the home and using equipment, as trained 

• Carry out light household tasks, such as tidying, laundry, washing up and keeping the home clean and safe 

• Provide companionship, conversation and emotional support 

• Notice and report any changes in a person’s health, wellbeing or circumstances to the office team 

• Complete accurate, up-to-date care records throughout the shift 

• Work in line with our values of kindness, dignity and respect
