Job Summary

Day to Day Care is a CQC-registered home care provider that has supported people across Bromley and Orpington since 2003. We're looking for a Field Care Supervisor / Care Coordinator. Most of your time will be out in the community, making sure the care our clients receive is the care that's been planned, with the rest spent in our Orpington office helping to keep the rota running.

What you'll do

Out in the field, you'll carry out spot checks, supervisions and needs assessments, introduce new care workers to their clients, support carers on patch, and step in to cover a call yourself when needed. In the office, you'll help match care workers to clients, keep calls covered through holiday, sickness and emergencies, run team meetings, and be a first point of contact for clients, families and staff.

What we're looking for

  • Experience in domiciliary care, ideally including supervising or supporting care workers
  • A Level 3 Diploma in Health and Social Care, or Level 2 and working towards Level 3
  • Full UK driving licence and your own car
  • Good spoken and written English, enough to talk with clients, families and health professionals, follow care plans, and keep accurate daily and medication records
  • A sound understanding of good care principles, needs assessment and care planning
  • Organised, confident and comfortable using IT and rostering systems
  • Willingness to take part in an on-call rota (1 evening a week, alternate weekend days), including going out to cover a call when needed
  • Living within about 20 minutes of our Orpington office, because of the on-call

What we offer

  • £31,000 p.a. plus an on-call payment of approx. £4,900 p.a. (total approx. £35,900 p.a.), plus 45p per mile
  • Company pension scheme and 28 days' paid annual leave
  • Ongoing training and career development, including funded qualifications
  • A supportive, values-led team where your contribution is recognised

How to apply

  1. Video interview: a 30-minute video interview with David, our Managing Director, on Google Meet.
  2. Face-to-face interview: a face-to-face interview with Mandy, our Registered Care Manager, at our office in Orpington.

To apply, use the Apply button below and attach your CV. If we'd like to take things further, we'll email you a link to book your video interview with David.

You'll need the right to work in the UK; we're not able to offer visa sponsorship.
