Experienced Community Support Worker

We're looking for an Experienced Support Worker to support our adult client in Chelmsford. 

This is a regular shift every Monday, 10am to 3pm (5 hours a week). 

We are looking for someone who is calm, confident, patient and resilient. Someone who doesn't get flustered easily, can think on their feet and knows how to handle difficult moments with kindness, understanding and common sense. 

You'll need to be a good communicator, able to build trust, encourage independence and recognise when someone needs a little reassurance or space. 

Experience supporting people with anxiety, emotional distress or behaviours that can challenge is important. Also, someone who applies Positive Behaviour Support. 

The role involves helping with everyday living, personal care, preparing meals and supporting activities out in the community. 

You'll have the support of our friendly office team, along with the training and guidance needed for the role.
