Domiciliary Care Worker

Job Description

• Community-based Domiciliary Support Worker role supporting adults in their own homes
• Providing consistent, person-centred care to clients with varying needs
• Role involves travelling between client visits within your local area
• Driving is recommended due to the nature of domiciliary care
• Suitable for experienced care professionals confident working independently
• Flexible working options available (full-time and part-time)

Responsibilities & Duties

• Deliver high-quality, person-centred care in line with individual care plans
• Assist clients with personal care, including washing, dressing, and toileting
• Support with medication administration 
• Assist with meal preparation, hydration, and nutrition
• Provide companionship and emotional support
• Maintain accurate and timely care records and documentation
• Travel between client visits safely and punctually
• Report concerns, changes in condition, or safeguarding issues promptly
• Work in accordance with company policies, CQC standards, and care regulations
• Communicate effectively with clients, families, and the wider care team
