The long lie

The long lie' describes a situation where an individual falls and remains on the ground for an extended period, unable to get up without assistance. The implications of a long lie can be serious, ranging from physical injuries to psychological distress, and can exacerbate pre-existing health conditions.

In association with Winncare and HCPA we are part of an exciting pilot scheme aiding those who have fallen in their homes using an Electric Lifting Cushion. The aim of our intervention is to ease pressure on local ambulance services and prevent the serious effects of a long lie from developing.
