We were desperate for help and rang A1. The chief executive came to see us and carefully described the whole scenario. We had to rethink our times because of cost but once we had done this they agreed to start next morning. Carers are ALLexcellent and friendly. Head office has helped in a couple
of 'help' situations and we could not be more satisfied with our choice, long may it continue.

Proactive and helpful, we would recommend A1 to anyone who needs Care. we have found them easy to communicate with and the Carers are always kind and well turned out. Easy to contact and available 24/7.

The team at A1 are simply superb. Nothing is ever too much trouble - they have tremendous expertise and advice and are always in touch promptly if they have the slightest concern regarding Mum. I cannot thank all of the team enough for everything they do and I would recommend them without
hesitation.

I would recommend A1 to anyone who needs Care. They are easy to communicate with and the Carers are always kind and well turned out.
They are always very respectful to the Client /Service user and tidy up before they leave.

This is an excellent agency. No request is too much for them and staff are unfailingly kind, respectful and efficient. I have experience in this field and am very fussy, so well done A1. They understand the frustrations of needing care.

This company made a huge difference to mum's quality of life. The staff are all very kind and the communication with the office is brilliant. Nothing seems too much trouble and Nicky really went above and beyond all our expectations. Thankyou so much

Nicky the manager is exceptionally talented and very knowledgeable within the company I couldn't rate her highly enough. Nothing was too much trouble also has excellent ideas as to what's required if you're not sure of anything. The staff were very helpful and good with my mother who is awkward at
times. Plus the costs involved were very reasonable so I'd definitely recommend the company for their services.

My dad said everything is fine - no problem
And my mum says that "my husband has been treated with dignity and care and asked how he wished to be treated and looked after". We are happy with the service and care being provided. My parents have given the ratings.

A1 have been looking after my mother-in-law (and before his death, my father-in-law too) for the past few years. Both in-laws were diagnosed with Alzheimer's and it was evident that they needed more regular support than the family could provide. I cannot criticise any of the carers - they're all
different in the way they deal with my MIL, but they're all friendly, conscientious and, as the job description implies, caring!
Both the office staff and the carers themselves are good at communicating with me dealing with the idiosyncracies that my MIL's Altzheimer's throws up with humour and patience. It's a bit of a joint effort, managing my MIL's decline - they've given me great advice based on their experience - and they're trusted partners. I would recommend them to anyone looking for a supportive team to help look after older family members.

I cannot fault A1 Home Care Ltd in terms of carers or management. My now 93 year old mother requires nursing care four times a day as she was chair bound and recently moved to being bed bound. While she does have her favourite carers, it is true to say that they have all dealt with her needs and
wishes with care and compassion. There have been times of crisis, requiring urgent attendance by anyone, and on these occasions management have diverted carers to mum or even on more than one occasion turned out themselves so she is not been left distressed. They, as in management and carers, are well qualified, experienced and keen to be involved in health service meetings to look at equipment, medical or care needs for my mother, which eases the load on still working family members. Mother is well cared for and looks forward to the carers visits and company, Overall I cannot really fault this company.

An excellent service. My brother is treated with care and compassion by the carers and looks forward to their visits. They take the time to talk to him and are good listeners. He always tells me how much he enjoys their company and remembers all their names.

Would definitely recommend A1 Home Care. The staff and carers have been good to mum and give us the peace of mind that someone is there in the mornings to get mum set for the day. Office staff always there when anything crops up.

I highly recommend this care service. The carers are exceptionally kind, patient, and respectful, treating my Nanny with the utmost dignity despite her dementia. They're incredibly attentive, even learning to play cards and watching the same movie with her repeatedly to bring her joy. Their
proactive approach to her comfort is truly reassuring; they're meticulous in personal care and regularly ask if there's anything more they can do. Recently, on her 100th birthday, the company director personally visited with flowers, adding a thoughtful, personal touch. Every year, they send her a birthday and Christmas card, showing they genuinely care. The staff followed her care plan precisely but adapt to her unique needs, making her feel valued and our family at ease. This service brings both professionalism and heart-an invaluable combination.

Have always found A1 to be extremely helpful. Carers are pleasant and Dad gets on well with those that come. The only thing that stopped a 5-star review is that carers are often moved around which Dad can find unsettling.

Thanks to A1homecare for looking after me so well I had to go to hospital recently and they were excellent in their care and making sure the carers were still in place when I came out The staff are excellent and I cannot praise them enough. They do everything for me I don't know what I would do
without them.

I think the A in A1 stands for Angels. A1 carers and office staff have been absolutely fantastic in the level and quality of care. They really do treat my mum like family, with the utmost love and concern. As a family, we feel so very lucky to have the peace of mind that Mum is being cared for so
well and kept informed of any concerns.
Before we had A1 caring for Mum, we had experienced many care organisations, some appalling and others ok, but none to compare with the excellence of care provided by the wonderful A1 carers. They really are exceptional.
We had considered moving Mum nearer to us, as we live over an hour's journey away, but she didn't want to leave her carers and we knew we wouldn't be able to replace them.
We are indebted to A1 carers and staff for their professionalism and genuine care, not a label but the true meaning of the word in action, consistently and reliably.

All the ladies I have come to me are all lovely, polite and caring and make me good healthy meals which helps me to eat vegetables and fruit etc that can help me to keep my eating good and hopefully help me with my weight loss journey. I have had homemade soup and am currently getting back to eating
salad. It’s lovely to have a nice chat and I really appreciate all the help they give me. I also enjoy my call where I go out with my carer enabling me to go to places I wouldn’t go on my own.

A1 is generally exceptional, of course, things occasionally go slightly wrong, but they are very quick to respond to sort things out.
Occasionally if delayed due to unforeseen circumstances they normally ring to let Mum know they will be late.

I have used A1 Home Care, who have supported both my parents over the last year. The level of care is exceptional with experienced, friendly and entirely trustworthy staff. Requests, whether it be for more hours or a change of care focus, have also been accommodated in a very timely fashion. I would
recommend A1 Home Care to anyone who is looking for care assistance in the home and the care they have provided made a material difference to the lifestyle and well-being of my parents. Have always found A1 to be extremely helpful. Carers are pleasant and Dad gets on well with those that come. The only thing that stopped a 5-star review is that carers are often moved around which Dad can find unsettling.
