All the carers that I met were very kind and caring. They were particularly patient in dealing with the needs of my friend, really supportive with some of his more challenging habits and they obviously built up a good relationship with him, enabling him to stay in his home as long as possible, this would not have been possible without the qualities of kindness, care, compassion and patience, consistent with all members of the homecare team.
Carers were reliable, friendly, competent and intelligent. My mother ( the client) liked them and all the family members felt supported too. The carers were occasionally delayed, as is inevitable in the job, but never failed to turn up.
We are grateful for all of the care & support that dad received at home over the past couple of months. Everyone that we dealt with at Guild Care Home Care Service, whether it be in person, on the phone or via email has been kind & caring.
I have been very impressed by the care and courtesy and look forward to their visits.
Guild Care provided excellent care for my wife before she died. They now provide me with 'virtual family' care from carers who have become old and valued friends. I look forward to their daily visits. I would recommend them without hesitation.
Guild Home Care have always been cooperative and supportive to me as a client. The carers are caring and helpful and very positive.
Very positive and helpful carers and also others on different days.
Carers come to my home every morning at 9 am to assist me with my medication. I find them helpful and caring.
Guild Care was my obvious choice due to the good reputation it held. I have not been disappointed over the five years they have supported me. Once I had settled into their care system I began to have a fairly regular carer. Their support enables me to be as independent as possible. The carers are well trained which means they understand not only my personal care but treat me with friendship and respect. I look forward to their visits each day.
Having been using Guild Care Home Care Service for just over one month. I would like to say that the care shown to my husband has been very good, both in the help he has received and the dignity he has been shown. All carers have been very kind and have drawn him out and got him talking about his love of music, photography and his dogs.
The service overall is good. Sometimes the rota says "Carer to be advised" but I'm never subsequently advised so I have to ring up. I'm unable to compare to there companies as I have never used another company.
Staff that visit my mother are lovely, kind and friendly. The management side is hard to get hold of, dates of visits are often muddled and it is almost impossible to pay as there is never anyone in the accounts department and never call back, although I leave messages. That's fine I just get to keep my money longer!
Personal care done well but occasionally rushed. Shopping carried out efficiently. Most carers clean, tidy and polite.
It was very reassuring to me in the knowledge that my dad would be receiving regular visits by a person who would give him a hand every day with his regular activities as his health deteriorates. He greatly enjoys the brief company this brings. My only concern, however, is that one particular carer just gets to know dad on a more personal level and then this person is changed for someone different and small differences occur which is not ideal.
On behalf of my mother who has dementia, we use home care and day care centre services provided by Guild Care. For home care, the carers arrive at the expected time and are extremely courteous and create a good rapport with our mother. For daycare centre again the Guild Care staff are very welcoming and inclusive and create an enjoyable day for mother, who also says the food/lunch is very nice.
I find the carer who comes to me each week to be very friendly and very caring in her job.
The carers are lovely and caring. They take very good care of you. If need be they get help.
Okay Good.
I've been helped by Guild Care for nearly 10 years and have found them reliable, friendly and efficient. Their holiday and illnesses have always made me disturbed but to my surprise, their substitutes have always comforted me.
