View Full Details of Home Instead (Ealing & Hounslow)We have used Home Instead Wembley for some years for our adult autistic son and cannot fault them. He has help with his domestic chores and for company which aids his communication skills. All staff are friendly, helpful, considerate, professionally trained and reliable.
When it was decided by the family that my Mum, who has dementia needed home care, I researched numerous companies thoroughly and found Home Instead ticked all the boxes. I am so thankful that I found I had made the right choice. We started off with a couple of home visits a day, as time went by Mum needed more care and now Mum has a full-time live in carer. Sadly at the end of September Mum will have to go into a residential care home but over the last 5 months Mum has received excellent care from Home Instead. The staff and carers have been so supportive, not just towards my Mum but the whole family. We have built up a friendship with everyone involved but professionalism is always first and foremost. The care, kindness and respect that has been given to my Mum has been absolutely wonderful, I can only thank all the staff and carers for everything they have done for Mum, I will be forever grateful and will be staying in touch with them from time to time.
I had some unsatisfactory experience with other agencies when I was looking for help for my wife who suffers from the symptoms of cereal amyloid angiopathy and Alzheimer's disease. Home Instead sent carers who were all very satisfactory. They (we are sent 5 carers) communicate sensibly to one another and I have felt comfortable discussing difficulties and problems as they crop up. There are have no breakdowns of the relaxed cooperation I have experienced with any of them, or with the agency's management. The are time I raised a slightly critical matter it was successfully dealt with in a grown up way. My wife resisted help at first something all carers understood. But now she gets on well with them.
The staff visiting my relative are fantastic cannot fault them at all, however since the office has moved far away from us that side is not as good. If I get one of the ladies who used to work in Hanwell they are great but the others seem disinterested and do not understand the local area.
I've found all the carers are very kind and reliable. I always feel reassured that when I'm not available my mum is safe in their hands. The company visit regularly to update the care plan and to introduce new carers to mum and that is great that we get to know each other beforehand.
Proffessional excellent service. Home Instead have supported us through a really difficult time as Mum's dementia symptoms have declined. Home Instead have been our strong advocates and supported us with getting a hospital bed and equipment to help Mum have a better quality of life and Mum's health has improved since, she is more alert now.
I have been with Home Instead for the past six months and have been satisfied with the care provided so far. My partner's carer is patient, kind, and good to talk with and share how Alzheimer's is affecting our lives together.
Very informative, will be putting in two extra days Friday and Saturday. Very happy with the service and all the carers. Thank you.
Home Instead has been really efficient and always available to answer questions. Provide a very flexible service.
The experience has been excellent and a real weight on our shoulders knowing Dad has people to check in and care for him. The care team have been highly personal providing much-needed conversation and interaction. As well as being able to run any errands.
The carers are reliable, and the agency is flexible with any changes needed. They take care to understand my father's needs.
My experience of Home Instead has been wonderful and has taken a big weight off me. Mum's carer has been brilliant and she is always reliable and efficient. Mum has built up a good relationship with her. The office team are always hopeful and responsive and I have already recommended this company to other people who are looking for care support.
The Home Instead carer is fantastic! My mum has a great relationship with her, and they get on well. She genuinely cares for my mother, and she takes her out every week. I don't know what I would do without her help as I work full time and care for my mother when I am working from home. I would recommend Home Instead to anyone who has a parent with dementia.
Good service overall but too many changes in caregivers. Staff are always there to help and advise. Changes are always notified via email and phone.
The carers for my mother are always friendly, helpful and happy to do whatever they can while maintaining a truly professional service. My mother regards them more as friends than carers. I find the management team equally helpful and extremely organised, happy to listen to the unique requirements of the individual. Keeping the number of carers to a small number helps my mother bond more easily with her carers. Having online access to the carer's notes keeps the family informed and we feel more involved with the day-to-day activities.
In general, we are very happy with the team at Home Instead. We have had a couple of small challenges which have been immediately dealt with in a professional and courteous manner.
Great service.
Carers have always been very pleasant and the work done has always been satisfactory.
The ladies who provide daily care are excellent. Everything we expected from this company is as stated and we are thrilled with his care.
We feel reassured to have the help and support of Home Instead (Ealing & Hounslow). The care we receive enables us to pursue out activities.
