When my wife needed more help than I could give, the choice was obvious - Tendacare. We had seen them at work with our neighbor over several years and knew them to be reliable, efficient and friendly. Their care of my wife in the last four months of her life proved that to be true. Now its my
turn. I look forward to seeing them three mornings per week and I know who they will be. They are always cheerful and like a chat whilst doing their jobs but never appear to be rushed. In itself this is a skill since they are on a schedule. They have also given me tips on managing my broken hip and help me to take my walk - essential to my recovery. They are skilled and I know they also have in-service training to keep up-to-date. They know their job and enjoy it and I enjoy seeing them as well.
Tendacare is a well-organised business which values its staff. It has also very kindly supported my application for a blue car badge by filling in a gap in my recent medical history.

Overall a good service
It is very hard to get used to strangers coming into your home but I soon got used to the ladies who were in the main a very friendly and useful asset to have as I was unable to look after myself at the time

My mum has been having Tendacare carers for nearly a year now. This is a daily morning visit to administer my mums tablets, check on her and do any small jobs for her.
This has been invaluable to us as it means I know my mum is safely taking her tablets and has someone keeping an eye on her
everyday and letting me know if there are any problems.
My mum always enjoys her visits and loves having a chat with the carers.
The carers are all amazing and go over and beyond to look after her. They are always on time, are polite and kind, respectful and patient with her.
The app is so helpful for me to check on my mums's visits, and to see what carer is next due and at what time so I can tell my mum.
The office team are amazing and very professional and adapt to my mum's care needs, and if we need to change visits they always try to accommodate this.
I cannot thank everyone enough at Tendacare for helping my mum, and we would highly recommend them to anyone who needs home care.

I am very happy with the care I receive
my carers are very pleasant and supportive..I look forward to seeing both of my main carers and they are extremely efficient but also lovely to talk to which makes a very pleasant start to the day.Also the time keeping is amazing considering how much the
traffic around the area varies from day to day.

I would like to thank all the Tendacare staff for the wonderful care and attention they have given me over the last ten weeks. I've had several visits each day, which has greatly helped my recovery. I will really miss the carers coming in, always with a cheerful greeting. I have enjoyed their
company. The days seem very long when one is housebound. I think Tendacare is a wonderful business and thoroughly recommend them to anyone who is in need of home care.

The whole Tendacare family from the start of their visits have been amazing. Kind, caring and very patient. Always prompt and on time and if for any reason running late they called ahead to advise us. They are easily contactable and adapt to the clients visits if you want to change times or
duration. I can't fault their service. Would definitely recommend to my family and friends.

Tendacare carers gave my father their time and care for 100%of their visits. He enjoyed them all visiting him and helping him stay at home independently. Nothing was too much trouble and they welcomed suggestions and gave suggestions of things that could help.
They all learned his likes and
dislikes to keep him comfortable and many went above and beyond expected tasks. Especially if they saw him wandering.
The admin team did an amazing job coordinating changes as his needs altered and wherever possible did this at the drop of a hat.
The family can't thank them enough for their care.

My mother received the services of Tendacare for three years before going into a care home. We spent some time reviewing a number of care services in the area before choosing Tendacare and we were not disappointed. The carers helped with personal care in a morning visit and occasional evenings and
my mother was always treated with kindness, respect and empathy. She used to look forward to her visits and a good chat with her carers, some of whom she came to regard as friends. I found Tendacare very professional in all my dealings with them, my queries/requests were dealt with promptly and with a high degree of flexibility. I would not hesitate to recommend them.

The wonderful Tendacare team have made it possible for my aunt to continue to live at home despite her increasing frailty and requirement for personal care. This independence is extremely important to her and so we are both grateful for all that Tendacare does. ALL of the staff are knowledgeable,
patient, caring and friendly.
The carers never know what to expect when they walk in the door. Unfailingly they adapt and deal professionally with situations ranging from the mundane to emergency, from a general tidy-up to serious scrubbing, from humorous to downright confusing.
Whatever they are faced with the carers are always respectful. My aunt enjoys each visit and looks forward to the cheerful chats.

My elderly mother had been using Tendacare to enable her to stay independent at home. Initially, this consisted of a twice weekly personal hygiene visit.
Early this year my mother spent a spell in hospital and required constant home support upon discharge. Tendacare attended to her needs by
visiting 4 times a day for about 6 weeks. Throughout, the friendly and professional approach by each of the Tendacare staff was remarkable and engendered strong confidence in their ability. Staff always explained any issues to family members.
Unfortunately, my mother was terminally ill but Tendacare were very compassionate and certainly made my mother's last weeks as comfortable and dignified as possible.
I can not praise Tendacare enough and anyone using their services are certainly getting very professional carers.
The App was very helpful to track visits and get feedback. Lastly, I cannot say how much it meant to our family to have three members of staff attend my mother's funeral.

Tendacare helped me shower and wash my hair. I was diagnosed with cancer, so I felt very weak. Tendacare staff were there for me to help do things that I found difficult. They were always kind and thoughtful and helped me through this tough time.

My husband needed help in the mornings to shower and dress. As Tendacare had helped both my mother and then my father with great care and respect in previous years, I had no hesitation in contacting them again.
The App they now use was very helpful so we always knew in advance the time, and who,
was coming. The carers were lovely, extremely helpful and kind, and very good at chatting to and boosting the confidence of my husband. Sadly my husband ended up in hospital and passed away in May but he was always very grateful for the support given by the carers. I was able to go out on occasion in the mornings and leave him, knowing that when I came back he would be showered, dressed and have been given his breakfast. I would recommend Tendacare to anyone needing help with care.

When mum needed help to stay at home I was recommended to Tendacare. For almost 3 years they have been looking after mum, initially once, then twice and latterly 3 times daily. I have met about 6 of their carers personally and have regular reviews with the Manager. Their service has been nothing
short of excellent, reliable and genuinely caring. They also use this great App that allows me to see how mum is doing and when her next visit is, which is fabulous.
I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them wholeheartedly.

When my mother needed daily care visits to support her to continue living in her own home, I was recommended to try Tendacare. My mother has now passed away after a short illness, but in turn, I would completely recommend this company to anyone else looking for private carer visits in the area. I
met several of the carers when I was visiting my mother, all were kind, patient and friendly, and willing to carry out any requirements - giving medication, personal care, preparing meals, keeping the house tidy and clean - but most importantly, having the time for a friendly chat. The office staff were also friendly, helpful and efficient. I was so impressed and very grateful.

Have had experience of several agencies both through caring for three elderly relationships over time, latest being Mum. Tendacare looked after Mum brilliantly until care stopped when she went into hospital after a fall early December. It's a great regret to us that Mum's financial position and need
to double care following hospitalisation, means that we have had to look for cheaper domiciliary service. We will miss the heart, care and expertise from the Tendacare team from admin through to front-end. No hesitation in saying to potential new users: 'start with Tendacare!'.

Tendacare looked after my Grandmother for a number of years, initially they provided assistance with bathing and, as she grew older and frailer, their visits gradually increased to twice a day helping with food, drinks, medication and some company. All of the staff were very well-trained, friendly
and caring, my Grandmother appreciated their visits and it gave us peace of mind. Tendacare's communication was excellent from both staff and management, especially since the introduction of their app which provides details of their visits straight away. They clearly did a good job as they enabled my Grandmother to live on her own past the age of 100, we couldn't be more grateful for all their help and advice and would happily recommend them to friends.

We were recommended Tendacare and we are so happy we used them. Mum has only had good words to say about you. The carers coming out were always kind, courteous, and respectful and couldn't do enough to help. The staff in the office were always helpful changing days and times. Always letting Mum know
if carers were unable to get to her on time.
Would definitely recommend it to anyone and use it again if needed. Thank you to all the staff!

The staff of Tendacare were all lovely with my mum. They made her feel very comfortable in the situation she found herself in. The carers made the family happy to know that Mum was being looked after, so she could stay in her own home. We were kept informed if there were any problems with Mum's
health and always helped if we had any worries. As a family we were really happy that we chose Tendacare. Thank you.

I am a carer for my husband. I was going into hospital for surgery. Tendacare were extremely adaptable to our changing needs. They were able to help us on each step of this journey. We really appreciated their respect and great attention to detail. They were willing to help with all we asked.

Very professional, staff friendly and my father got great care from every member of staff. He enjoyed chatting to the staff and they always put him at ease.
They visited 3x daily all were well trained and nothing was too much trouble, I would recommend Tendacare to family and friends.
