Over the past seven years, Home Instead supported by father brilliantly. We started slowly because dad didn't think he was ready for too much help, and the team handled that transition with real care and patience. Over time, as dads needs became more complex they provided a consistent team who
provided near-on wrap around care for Dad. They didn't just support my dad - they supported all the family, and genuinely felt like part of our family. The carers worked really well as a team: kind, generous, and thoughtful, taking the time to properly get to know my dad and us all. It was all managed superbly by Jen, who kept us informed and consistently went the extra mile. Due to the excellent Home Instead team, we were able to keep dad at home throughout his latter years - which is what he already.

I contacted Home instead after a recommendation from two friends. From the first phone call to the start of care the service was extremely professional, honest and reassuring. The care my mother receives is fantastic. Always on time, professional and very caring. The communication is great from
the office and day to day care. My mother is very happy with the care and looks forward to her carer coming.

The care given to my mother was excellent. The carer was very kind, thoughtful and really understood Mum's needs. Even though my mother has dementia and becomes stressed with unfamiliar faces she was relaxed and happy during the visits.

We have had a great few months of support so far from Home Instead. The process of engaging was smooth and professional and we now feel supported as a family. All of the carers are helpful, flexible and willing to go the extra mile.

Myself and my brother were struggling with the day to day demands of looking after Mum and trying to juggle this with work and family time. After a disastrous experience with a different company, I contacted Home Instead for a chat about what services they could provide (my Mum has dementia). Right
from the first telephone call, through to the initial introduction visit and all care visits since then, I have been impressed with the professionalism and compassion everyone has shown my Mum.
Mum has 3 visits a week, each lasting an hour. She has the same carers every week which is so important for her continuity of care and they all try to encourage her to partake in activities she used to enjoy. Despite Mum's sometimes reluctance to engage, they encourage her with care and empathy and soon have her chatting about her family and days gone by.
They are an excellent company and I would highly recommend them.

From my first contact with the manager from Home Instead I was very impressed. Suddenly becoming a carer for my mum and dad alongside balancing a career and home life was tough. I thought I could and should be doing it all. I soon realised I needed a break and reached out to Home Instead. She fully
understood how I was feeling, battling with guilt for not being able to do it all. We talked through a solution based on what Home Instead could offer then arranged a meeting with my parents. The manager was lovely with them and instantly gained their trust and support. The carers started in January and we haven't looked back. The carer who cares for them regularly is like another daughter and they are so complimentary about her. another carer covers if their main carer if off and is equally wonderful. I am so delighted with how it is going. I now have some evenings back to recharge my batteries safe in the knowledge that when I'm not there to do evening meals, they are being well looked after.

Home Instead have been fantastic for my 97 year old father. From the very first phone call I felt comfortable and included in the decision making. They went out of their way to choose carers that were right for my father. The hours given were exactly what he asked for. The carers are brilliant and
he likes them both very much. Not only have they vastly improved the life of my father, but also the lives of myself, brothers and sister. We know he is in good hands. I would recommend Home Instead without hesitation. They are fabulous!

Home Instead care professionals looked after my husband two days a week for 4/5 months before he went into a care home. They formed a very good relationship with him in spite of the difficulties his dementia presented and worked hard to stimulate him and keep him occupied including short trips in
their cars. He felt confident enough in their company to enjoy these little outings. When I returned home my husband was happy and relaxed and it was obvious he had been well taken care of. The care professionals were reliable, always on time, and well-presented. The office staff were friendly and supportive and would offer advice if and when required.

After a poor experience with another care company, we chose Home Instead to provide morning routine assistance for our mother.
From the beginning, they listened to her requirements and met her needs over the last few years until she recently passed away.
They were always prompt, reliable, polite
and well-presented.
Good communication from the administration staff at all times.
Our mother built a strong bond with her carer and this allowed her to feel safe, relaxed, dignified and happy in their presence.
She always looked forward to seeing her carer.
We would highly recommend home instead as our mother could be a hard person to please and she never had any complaints just good things to say about the team.

My father has dementia and recently my mother had a stroke. As I am the sole carer I was struggling to cope. Home Instead was recommended to me and we couldn't be more satisfied with their support.
My mother has a visit 3 times a week and enjoys her time with her PA at home and has short trips out
to the shops etc and appointments. They're always laughing and chatting and were marched perfectly. When the PA is away there is always someone to cover.
It has taken a lot of stress away from me and my parents are comfortable and reassured that they are having additional help and support.
The staff are so kind and understanding and are always on hand for any advice or answer any questions.
Within a week of the initial call and after a couple of 'get to know us meetings' my mum had a wonderful PA.
This company is so proffessional and efficient. They have certainly changed our lives for the better in a time when we were struggling.

We have been using Home Instead for over a year and the service provided has been fantastic throughout. The carers are friendly, punctual and go above and beyond. My grandad and I have built up a great relationship with the team and my grandad enjoys having them in his day-to-day life. The team keep
me up-to-date with regular updates and are very supportive and accommodating. Home instead, put my mind at ease, knowing that my grandad is taken care of professionally and caring, for those days I cannot visit him. I highly recommend Home Instead!

Home Instead have provided a professional and reliable service for the last twelve months. I live a considerable distance from my parent and without the support of Home Instead, they would have lost their independence. The daily visits provide not only my parent the care they need, but also as a
family comfort in knowing someone is helping them each day, and will also bring to our attention any issues of concern. When changes in care needs are required we have always been supported by the carers and the management team. Importantly my parent looks forward to the carer's visits and do not see them as an intrusion but as an improvement in their standard of living at home and maintaining their independence. This is an extremely professional team of care providers in every respect. My mother thoroughly enjoys the company of all the ladies who take her out to groups and also look after her house. My mother is always treated with the utmost respect and dignity. As a family, we have forged an excellent

We had only used Home Instead for three and a half months before my husband went into a care home but in all that time he was treated with care, compassion and dignity. All staff we encountered and carers were genuinely keen to do a good job and to help him maintain as much independence as he was
able to whilst helping with what he couldn’t manage. The additional help provided around the home was also invaluable to me as was the genuine concern of staff for my health. I would have no hesitation in recommending this Home Instead company to anyone.

Home Instead have given my parents and I a professional, reliable service for the past 12 months and in spite of challenges faced post covid, have always made a great effort to support us wherever possible. Their team are friendly, approachable and adaptable, and have a great understanding of the
difficulties involved, both with dementia and other health conditions. We would be lost without them. Their main carer has become invaluable, especially to Mum, and it's lovely to see the relationship they have built.

Home Instead was recommended to me by a friend when I was struggling to find Home Care for my parents-in-law. They weren't very willing to accept that they needed help, but, from the very first visit, the staff were able to put them at ease. All the staff are extremely helpful, respectful and
caring. All team members are introduced to their clients by another team member before doing a solo visit. Home Instead always keeps me informed of any issues that might crop up when visiting my parents-in-law and they are happy for me to keep in touch with them too. We are then able to address any possible problems together. If there are any alterations to the schedule, due to circumstances beyond their control, my parents-in-law always receive a telephone call to update them of the problem. Home Instead have been visiting for the last 9 months and we don't know how any of us would have managed without them. Thank you to all the team at Home Instead.

I would not hesitate to recommend Home Instead to anyone looking for care for a loved one. The company continually meet and exceed expectations in all areas of care. The office staff and the carers are genuinely interested in their clients and understand their individual needs. The company is

Mum suffered from dementia and initially, Home Instead came in to offer some companionship. She immediately bonded with the carers and said it felt like having a friend around rather than a carer. The carers did not rush and had plenty of time for Mum either just sitting and having a chat, going for
a walk or doing a jigsaw. When Mum needed more day-to-day care Home Instead worked with me to ensure the right package was put in place. The carers were amazing and it put my mind at ease knowing that someone was visiting and making sure Mum was okay. If there were any issues I was contacted immediately and solutions if needed were offered. All office staff and managers were highly professional and approachable. If I had any queries I felt able to ring them for a chat and they had the time to talk to me and support me in any way they could. I would highly recommend Home Instead and I wish to thank them for all the support, kindness and compassion they gave us all.

Home Instead has made a huge difference to my mother over recent months. She has been receiving carers in her own home and at the grand old age of 91 years young has been delighted with the assistance given. The service is both adaptable and personal. Staff have displayed a high level of
professionalism and are empathetic and hardworking. My mother looks forward to her regular visits and has benefited greatly. Home Instead really does its very best to please. They are always there to listen and find solutions to problems when they arise. Circumstances change and it is very reassuring to know that there is help available when needed.
