I think Bluebird are very good and very helpfull. Nothing is to much trouble.

We have been receiving personal care for my husband who has Parkinsons and Parkinsons Dementia, through Bluebird Care Torbay.
Over the past months we have experienced very professional carers for whom nothing is too much trouble. The level of communication with my husband, from each carer, is
second to none. Friendly attitudes, helpful suggestions, non judgmental personal care, all in the mornings when the carers are most under pressure. We are very happy with the level of care provided.

After nearly a year of companionship for my husband I have found one staff member in particular to be perfect for my husbands needs as a carer, he helps my husband with, shopping, cooking, walking and gets him out. (my husband cannot do any of these independantly) He also asks if I need anything
doing or shopping etc. and make sure that my husband doesn't forget to pick it up when they are out. It's so good for my husband to have man to man company lots of jokes + laughter which helps my husbands moods. The member of staff is the perfect companion/carer for my husband, all my family agree too.

We have a carer who comes in once a week to help with domestic chores, which in turn, helps me to have more time with my husband to go out daily for coffee. Small trips, sometimes lunch, to try to make the most of every day. Our carer is really good, friendly and very helpful. She also is good at
chatting to my husband, and having a good connection, and understanding him. We feel it will be really supportive for when my husbands dementia progresses.

Bluebird are excellent and very willing to do any extras like shopping etc. They are willing to go the extra mile and were excellent when I fell off the chair and came to pick me up and it was night time. They keep in touch and always let me know when a different carer is coming. I would definitely
recommend them to anyone looking for help at home.

Both my carers are very helpful. They really do help me stay independent. I love the social parties everyone is really friendly. I feel looked after and special. Bluebird is very good. Thank you.

Not used the service for very long, a few weeks, but all that's been given is first-class. No problems, always the best you could ask for.

Bluebird Care made all the difference to my mum's life after she had been discharged from hospital. She had found it very difficult to admit she needed help but once she acknowledged that the managers and carers were able to reassure her and be there in a practical way, and they were always
respectful towards her as an individual in her own right. I can't thank them enough for their dedication. They were also brilliant at keeping in touch with me, knowing I lived a long way away and had caring duties at home. They stepped in at short notice when my mum was feeling very isolated and helpless. I only wish their support could have been in place earlier in my mum's life.

I cannot fault the service I am receiving from Bluebird Care Torbay. My carer is superb - empathic, cheerful and willing. I am also very impressed by their administration - efficient and keep me well informed.

I am very happy with my carers, they are great company. Good workers, good cooks, cleaners and good at giving medicine. I'm always glad to know they're coming every evening.

Mum and Dad had emgerency carers before we went to Bluebird Care Torbay. We never knew if and when they would turn up or the standard of care they would provide.
Bluebird Care Torbay turn up at 9am the morning and evening without fail. They treat Mum and Dad with the utmost care and dignity.
As
they have the same few carers, they have become more like friends and it is good that Mum and Dad are able to have chat and a laugh with them.

We are really pleased with Bluebird on the whole. The caregivers are all lovely, mostly very prompt and very thorough. We would probably prefer not having quite so big a team (no more new ones please!). They do all really care for Dad though. The management are always helpful with requests I make
and seem very professional. They are obviously overworked as some things didn't happen as said, but nothing major.

Bluebird Care Torbay looked after my father for end of life care. All the carers were superb. Professional and very kind. They all took time to talk to Dad about his life and engaged him in his interests. He looked forward to their visits each day. I cannot praise them enough and wouldn't hesitate
to recommend them.

My mum was a reluctant client at first, but as time went on she absolutely relied on your care. It brought much-needed peace of mind for me and I would recommend Bluebird for their professionalism.
