View Full Details of Manorcourt Homecare (Harlow & Loughton)Overall decent service, Dad's main carers are good with him. We have had running issues of medication being messed up, wrong day given & missed altogether. Recently an issue where a carer has missed medication & not signed for it but upon their return at a later date have signed the mar-chart to cover themselves. Sometime the rota is wrong & a different carer turns up at a completely different time e.g. 2 hours early. Also damage to our kitchen.
Have had a very good experience / support from all carers. Have had some minor problems, but this has been resolved well by the carers and the office. Very happy with the carers and the service.
I would like to thank two members of staff who are coordinators in the office. Manorcourt Homecare is a very good company, I receive a weekly rota to let me know what carer is coming on my calls. Office phone me if carers are going to be late. I would like to thank the Field Supervisor for changing my care plans and helping with medication issues. When I am feeling low I know I can pick up the phone and talk to staff. I am also pleased and a big thank you to a carer who has come back to work for Manorcourt Homecare who works very hard and cares for her clients. I would like to thank another carer for all the help and support you have given the organisation you have done in my home. You were a fantastic carer, who has left to become a trained nurse.
Most carers are very caring They are very understanding of my husband's dementia.
My wife has been cared for by the company for at least four years now, and I am very happy with all the care and dignity the carers have shown. I would recommend this company to anybody. All the carers are friendly and professional in their work. If there are any problems a quick phone call to the office and it's sorted out.
Good communication, service and great service.
My mother and family are very happy with the care being provided. Carers are courteous and professional. They always let us know if there are any delays or changes to the schedule.
Several, in my opinion, efficient and importantly, 'caring' carers, working in the Waltham area, which covers my aunt, have left your employment since March 2023. I believe this is due to a lack of company incentives both to progress further and monetary and low hourly pay rates. I hope you can consider these points in order to keep 'good' staff in the fixture. I also wish to say that aunt's current carer is very efficient and caring and this should be recognised.
I am very happy with the carers and the service.
I can't thank the staff and carers enough for the excellent care they have given my mum for the past 5 years, sadly, Mum is now moving to a care home but without a shadow of a doubt she has only been able to remain in her own home for as long as she has due to the fantastic care and support she has been given. My family and my mum thank you all for being totally amazing.
My lovely dad was treated with the utmost dignity and respect from everyone who attended him. The care that was given enabled Dad to live a clean and comfortable last few years. I, in turn, enjoyed the chats from all the carers who would always inform me of any changes or medical problems, no matter how small, which was of immense help to us. The carers have helped us through some very difficult times and we were so happy that Dad did not have to go to a care home. We are always happy to recommend Manorcourt (Harlow). Thank you from all the family.
I am very happy with the care my mum receives. All the carers are extremely good with her, they are all very polite and caring and I'm really grateful for all you do for her.
Living a long distance away from Mum we are only able to visit weekly, other members of the family visit her at other times. However, we are always pleased to see Mum having been got up, washed, dressed and having been given breakfast by the care team. She always appears to be content, if somewhat sleepy when we arrive. Generally, we only encounter the lunchtime carer and occasionally the tea carer. They always appear to have a genuinely good relationship with Mum and manage her needs in a very competent and caring manner, on occasions encouraging her to do things that she doesn’t initially want to do, examples being walking to the toilet, having her hair brushed. Such things may in some ways seem unimportant but they are things that maintain her dignity. When the need has risen for us to contact the management team they have always been very helpful and reassuring in manner. Thanks to this caring team, Mum has been able to stay in her family home as she always wanted to do.
My father has carers three times a day. They are all friendly, flexible and patient, and engage well with both him and my mother. They help him with washing, dressing and catheter care, as well as assisting with essential household tasks as time allows. I find it helpful that a care timetable is provided for the coming week as times do vary.
Carers have been very good and efficient in the care they have given to me. I have been treated with dignity at all times.
I am very pleased with the care I recieve. I like all the carers, they do the caring job very well and keep me in order. I have showers and washes and they make me a nice lunchbox. I have my shopping done for me by someone in the community so I am well looked after.
On behalf of my Mum, I would like to thank the care team who came in twice a day to look after her. We have been using the company since April 2020, and we were very pleased with the care and kindness shown towards her especially during the lockdown period. It was pleasing to know that she was being looked after by such lovely and kind ladies, and as we were unable to visit as we would have normally, it gave us confidence as we knew all was ok. Over the last couple of months her health begun to deteriorate, and again the ladies stepped up and went the extra mile to help out. Several times the ambulance had to be called and the ladies dealt with this and looked after Mum until we arrived. They were very professional in dealing with this as it was an emergency situation on each occasion. The care, kindness, and friendship shown towards Mum was very genuine, and as a family, we appreciated this as it made a difference to her last days. Thank you.
I am writing this review for my carer. In the last few months that she has been caring for me, I have been subject to the most wonderful carer I have ever come across and I have had several carers in the past, but no one meets the quality and kindness of her. She has shown me the best type of care and she is always one step ahead of me. I don't have to ask her to do anything. She seems to know everything that I require. She does this with such care and devotion. I wish I could continue to have Manorcourt and her as my carers and I wish her all the best for the future.
Fantastic service from all the team. From the management staff to the carers themselves. They are all so helpful and go above and beyond at times to make sure that the customer and person being looked after gets exactly what they need. Nothing is too much trouble. Highly recommended and I wish all of the Manorcourt team our best wishes.
All the carers are friendly and really care. They take their time to meet Mum's needs and support her. They are very reliable. The manager has been great at keeping in touch and updating the care plan.
