The carers at Home Instead are excellent. They have been really good with both mum and dad. Dad has alzheimers and vascular dementia and they have been lovely with him and very understanding about his condition.
They have helped prepare meals at lunch time and will do any jobs mum asks them to.
They are also very good at listening and good for my mum to talk to if she has been having any problems with dad.

Home Instead have provided the most incredible support to my mother and to us as a family. Each and every carer without exception shows compassion and the highest standard of care. They treat my mother with the utmost respect ensuring she retains her dignity. The care is second to none.
We have
used the services of Home Instead (Salford) for almost 3 years now. My mother's needs have changed fairly significantly over the last few months and the care she has required has increased. This has involved a good deal of interaction with the Administration at HomeInstead. They have been understanding and superbly efficient at dealing with all requests. I am so impressed with the communication and how they keep me constantly updated on all arrangements.
I'm not sure where we as a family, but particularly our mother would be without HomeInstead.

Three carers have been for a month now visiting and caring for my Aunt
They are so kind and professional in all they do and my aunt and I appreciate it.
They arrive on time cook a meal, prepare a sandwich, administer medication and take her shopping all within the hour

We found ourselves in need of short notice care for my father. Jem and the team were up and running and looking after him within 3 days of us giving them the go ahead and he now has a daily visit along with shopping and social activities.
The care and service has been excellent in the three weeks
since then and myself and my father are extremely happy with Home Instead and all the carers.

The ladies that look after dad are so lovely. They treat him like a king. He feels very well looked after and I feel very comfortable having them there. I'm confident to leave his medication with them to organise each day and it's a huge weight off my mind having them around.

Home Instead Salford supported my Grandma after she came out of hospital following a serious fall down the stairs. She had been in hospital for a long time and had undergone surgery for several broken bones. Grandma had always been extremely independent. She loved going out for walks, doing her own
shopping and meeting friends for lunch, and she was very involved in the community. Losing that independence was very difficult for her, both physically and emotionally.
Home Instead began visiting her daily, helping with everyday tasks such as making breakfast and keeping the house tidy. Over time, she built a genuine bond with her Care Professional. With their support, she slowly began to regain her confidence. She started going out on short walks with a walker, and even returned to doing her own shopping in the supermarket, something that meant so much to her. These moments were incredibly special for our family after everything she had been through.

Thank you so much for caring for my Mum. The two ladies were marvellous - caring and efficient and trustworthy. The difference between the Home Instead carers and the NHS carers is unbelievable - Home Instead carers are so much better. They enabled me to have peace of mind.

My dad has recently started using Home Instead and he and the family are so pleased with the service and the care providers. From making initial enquiries to care providers being put in place, every step of the process was delivered in such a friendly yet professional way. The co-ordinator put a
great deal of time and effort into getting to know my dad, his interests and his background to provide well-matched car providers.
From an admin perspective, the onboarding and billing process was clearly communicated.
My dad is already getting so much out of his twice weekly visits and it gives me and my brother so much peace of mind. You can't put a price on that!

I was having major surgery and needed someone reliable to care of my mum and dad whilst I was in hospital and for the recovery period. I am my parents main carer and as such I needed to be sure that they were in good hands. I had seen home instead advertised on TV. I called in to see them and I was
not disappointed with the process from the start. Care has been phenomenal and the carers are really nice. The piece of mind knowing my parents are safe, happy and well taken care of has aided my recovery. Thank you to all involved. As this was short term care only I would have no hesitation of using them again should the need arise. I would also recommend them to my friends too.

Care professionals are attentive, friendly, caring, efficient and cheerful. We enjoy cooking together! Staff in the office deal promptly with any problems and keep us well informed. Good communication with my daughter by text and email and with my by phone.

Our journey started with Home Instead because of the poor service my parents had experienced from other providers.
From the first contact, I had the impression of professional, efficient staff with a warm, caring attitude.
They very quickly picked up on my parents' needs and how to support our
family in enabling Mum and Dad to stay in their own home.
We had provided care as a family for nearly 10 years but Mum and Dad's needs were now at a level where we needed that extra support.
All the staff from office to care providers simply go above and beyond every day. It's very clear this is not just a job for them, they truly care about the people they are involved with.
The staff quickly blended into the family unit and we became a very strong team. There was support from them for all of us, not just Mum and Dad.
I honestly cannot praise everyone enough for the many things they do.
They are very special people making difficult situations workable. We were so lucky to find them.

The service is used to prevent me from falling while in the shower and being dressed. I'm limited in my movements due to arthritis. I had had a recent fall culminating in me having 4 broken ribs and a head wound. This necessitated a stay in the hospital. These issues have now been addressed.
