Recently I used the services of your company to help with showering and dressing. I had been in Hospital and required help until I built up my strength and confidence. The ladies who came in to help me were all a delight to have around. They were helpful, understanding, thorough and made sure I was
safe and well cared for. Never once did I feel embarrassed by their presence.
I thoroughly recommend their services to anyone as I am sure they will show the same compassionate approach but also with humour to the task in hand.

All good with my husband having help to get around the house and enjoy the company and playing games and jigsaws etc
He needs dressing help etc etc as in a wheelchair
Also the carers are able to get him to have short walks and do exercises
They are happy to take him out with wheelchair for a
coffee or snack
Its guaranteed that carers arrive as specified in a notice sent the week before to us
Its a very reliable service which we could not now do without

Very pleased with the care provided to my Mum which allowed us to go on holiday for a week. The care provider put my Mum at ease from the start as it was the first time she had anyone outside of family caring for her. Nothing was too much trouble and the visit was long enough for her to do what was
needed and also have a lovely chat. Have already booked in further visits to cover our upcoming holidays. Great service to allow families to have a break knowing their loved one is being well looked after.

Home Instead have been supporting my mum while my dad has been in hospital for the last few months. The care and admin staff are lovely. The service is very flexible and accommodating of changing needs. It has given me great peace of mind as I live in a different country and feel reassured that mum
is being so well supported.

We've only been using the service for a few weeks now but we are delighted with the level of care mum has been given at every visit. The caters are wonderful and I really like that an update is put on the app each day. Home Instead have taken a lot of strain off my sister and myself as we had been
finding things increasingly difficult to cope with .

Such a friendly and lovely team of people I have met, I'm a service user and I've never felt so at ease with the carers I have met so far. They have made sure I'm well looked after and I've no worries about what care I will receive. Fantastic company

We started using Home Instead for my wife to have someone with her while I was out two mornings a week. This has worked out very well since it commenced in February. the Care Pros always arrive on time and provide help in washing and dressing etc. Very pleased with the service.

Mum has been supported by Care Pros from Home Instead since November 2024. We have found the office team to be very helpful and responsive to changes in Mum's requirements, even at short notice. Mum has enjoyed the companionship of the Care Pros and the help they have given her to continue to lead
the life she wants.

Don't use this company. I remember the Client lead of South Glasgow visiting our home making big promises and selling a dream of her staff who'd apparently free me up from my caring duties and they'd do things like "make a pot of soup" and "let me go for hobbies or a coffee and get me back to being
me" Reality? Staff who turn up and do nothing for the hour or shout on me to assist them or leave me to do all the work - none of them brought the required PPE like aprons or gloves so I had to provide them. Final insult was the Service manager saying after an hour long meeting she agreed we'd had bad service and would sort it we're still weeks later receiving invoices for payments - Avoid avoid avoid. Zero stars for everything which the website doesn't allow!

We needed to call on Home Instead at very short notice. The service was excellent; in less than 24 hours, a visit was arranged to assess what we needed and the service started on the day we requested. The team are professional, kind and attentive, treating everyone as an individual and matching the
care delivered to what the client needs.
I would absolutely recommend Home Instead to anyone looking for care at home.

I have received support from Home Instead for more than four years. Over this period, I have always found the Care Team to be extremely professional and caring. All the caregivers have been well-trained, helpful, and friendly and I look forward to their visits.
The company has also tried to provide
a consistent team of caregivers which has helped me greatly with my rehabilitation exercises.
I would have no hesitation in recommending Home Instead.

My mum was not keen to have help at home, but now she seems so much happier and content, she has the same regular carer, who is lovely and kind and gets on well with my mum.
We had to change one of the days and this meant a new carer on that day, mum is also very happy with the new day and carer.
This has taken the stress off the family, we were constantly worrying about her managing since my dad died last year. It has helped us all get some balance back in our lives.

The carer was very professional and did the cleaning to a very high standard. I was very pleased. They also have a friendly manner and took the time to chat with me which was nice and very much appreciated. During my time with this agency I have had work done by three of their staff and they have
all been very professional with a cheery manner. The office staff are easy to get on with and take time to understand my needs and how they could be matched to a member of staff. I feel valued by the office staff and the staff that come to visit me. They take the time to understand what I want and how I want it delivered. Nobody seems to rush but instead they get on with the work but take the time to talk to me and make me feel wanted. I gave them advanced notice that my care needs would change over the holiday period which allowed them to schedule additional visits. That worked well.

I live some distance from my mother, who was determined to live independently despite complex challenges, and I engaged Home Instead to visit her a few times a week to support her and came to rely on them from a distance. The agency offered her excellent care, in often challenging circumstances, and
kept in touch with me regularly to keep me informed about my mother's needs as they developed and stepped in to support when I reported my own observations to them. She formed close bonds with her carers and they repeatedly thought of new and interesting ways to support her as her needs grew and demonstrated great kindness and patience. The agency was also incredibly supportive to me, offering reassurance and assistance from a distance, when my mother's situation grew more difficult to manage after two years, including tailored ways to continue supporting her. Based on our family experience, I cannot recommend them highly enough.

Care for our elderly mother had to be arranged at short notice and Home Instead have provided an excellent service. The care team have been very efficient, friendly and helpful which has been reassuring both for our mother and ourselves.

My aunt started out resistant to even having carers coming in. But she was won over by their gentle care and genuine concern for her. All of the carers were lovely and under their care, she thrived. They all went the extra mile to see to her needs before leaving. And when incidents arose outside her
care sessions, nothing was too much for Home Instead to sort out in a calm and caring way to avoid drama and to make things simple for her family who lives very far away. When she fell and had to be admitted to the hospital, one of the staff stayed with her for hours until she was admitted to the hospital, even though there were the usual inevitable delays. I can't recommend them highly enough.

As an elderly person living alone, I have been very happy with the support provided by Home Instead carers. Nothing is too much trouble for them, whether helping with household tasks or taking me out for appointments, shopping or just for coffee and cake! Everyone is helpful and friendly and I
really look forward to their visits.

Very happy with Home Instead. They took time to find out what type of care was needed with a personal visit. Tried to send the same two carers when possible which makes a great difference. Would use them again.
