View full details of Helping Hands Home Care (Swansea)Rhianne has been a patient, kind and good humoured carer to my husband Brian and me. We were very glad to have her help as a live-in carer for the last 5 months. Her primary role was as a carer to Brian who was suffering from Alzheimer's disease. Kindness was at the centre of all that she did with him. Brian was always keen to exercise and she gently ensured that he could do so as safely as possible. As someone with a naturally positive disposition, Rhianne coped with the hiccups and difficult moments of looking after someone with dementia with great politeness and thoughtfulness. She was responsible for preparing and serving our lunch and evening meal and has always been careful to cook things the way we were used to as well as adding some of her own ideas to our menu. Rhianne has kept our house extremely clean and tidy during her time with us and she has been keen and happy to follow a weekly routine in the house. I would highly recommend her to anyone looking for a live-in carer.
Understanding team who are reliable and conscientious. Providing carers with "good fit" for family and capable of providing personalised care in a sensitive way. only negative feedback is rigidity in some hours and working practice ie only can supply a carer in blocks of 7 days rather than more bespoke arrangements that some agencies can offer but understand that this is part of their service for their staff and in the scheme of things only a tiny flaw in an otherwise very reliable and caring service! I am very grateful for their help and they are clearly expert at what they do.
We have been very, very happy with the live in respite carer for my terminally ill elderly relative who is virtually bed bound. She is far more experienced than her resume suggested. She is kind, compassionate, pragmatic and efficient. Just wonderful and a credit to her profession. The process of finding relevant care was generally smooth and, although only one carer was available for the time we needed, it has turned out she was exactly the right carer for my relative.
Thank you for all the wonderful care that you provide to my mum. I am very grateful and Mum.
Helping Hands are excellent. They are a safe pair of hands and provide the best care. The carers are the best. They treat mum with respect and dignity and really enhance the quality of mums life. I cannot fault the service we receive from all parts of the company. The office staff and Management are very helpful and supportive. The whole service provides the peace of mind which you need when caring for a loved one.
I cannot thank you enough for the support that you have given my mum to help with her confidence whilst getting back home. The ladies that have been calling have been amazing and so helpful I only wish she would have had you for longer as it has been a support to me also. Would highly recommend your services.
As a family we are very grateful for the care and support received from all the staff involved in Dad's care. The office team are kind, easy to talk to/communicate with and quick to adapt if situations arise, eg unexpected doctors appointments. The carers are all very respectful and engage well with Dad who is very deaf, has severe cataracts and dementia. They give me peace of mind that Dad is in good hands when I can't be there! I definitely recommend this company/service.
Helping Hands Home Care provides 100% reassurance and reliability. The Swansea branch is always as flexible as it can be when asked to fit in with changing plans and everyone is utterly reliable. The care visitors are all friendly, dependable and caring.
My review would include my appreciation of the care and kindness shown to me over the past few months. I was given encouragement to walk more and to undertake exercises recommended by the physiotherapist.
I will have no hesitancy in recommending the home care I have recently received with the kind attitude and patient response to any queries. It has been a wonderful and unexpected experience not to be overlooked or forgotten. May many other people have the pleasure of a similar response and be forever grateful.
The response I have made refer to my review of my regular carer, who is excellent. On occasion, when she is not available, the replacements do not always meet her very high standards.
