Latest Reviews for Helping Hands Home Care (Warwickshire)

Helping hands have provided high quality and sensitive support to our aunt. The care professionals and office staff are responsive to any feedback and have worked closely with us to formulate a care plan, adapting their approach to her changing needs. It's clear all staff have a good level of
training and awareness of the needs of someone with a dementia. All care professionals have used their initiative to make sure all tasks are completed and their notes have been invaluable to us in monitoring how our aunt is on a day to day basis. Having had a less than satisfactory experience with a previous agency our expectations have been exceeded and we would have no hesitation in recommending helping hands to others.

All the Carers have been attentive to my relative's needs, were friendly and cheerful and overall made his daily life much more enjoyable. He welcomed their company and it was a relief to myself to know that highly trained people were caring for him on a daily basis, making sure he was eating well
and who were also alert to any health needs which may arise.

Since July Helping Hands have been looking after my mother, the standard of care is fantastic. My mother has been treated with kindness and respect, and the carers have helped give her more confidence in her everyday life. We have nothing but praise for the carers and management, they have really
helped. We would recommend them for great care.

Recently, my father experienced prostate issues and required a catheter fitted by the NHS. After discussing things with both my parents, we agreed it would be helpful to seek additional support with changing the weekly catheter bag. A relative recommended Helping Hands, having heard excellent
feedback about their services.
From my very first contact with the Stratford Management team, they have been professional, supportive, and patient with both my parents and myself. A carer now visits once a week, always arrives on time, and provides excellent support to my father.
We recently had a three-month review with the Management team, during which my father expressed how pleased he was with the care he has been receiving. He said he feels well supported and that he trusts his carer completely. Overall, we are incredibly pleased with the service provided and have full confidence in the care and professionalism of the team.

The care my Uncle (who has dementia) is receiving is absolutely outstanding. He lives alone, is frail but very independent. From his initial professional assessment to this day we as a family have seen a positive increase to his quality of life. The carers are always in first contact with me as I am
my Uncle's power of attorney, I have a great relationship with the care manager as we all have my Uncle's best wishes at heart. If there is anything at all they are quick to let me know so I can resolve any issues.

Overall, quite satisfactory. As we are new to this type of service we are unable to comment much further and as time goes on we will be more able to judge. Apart from the occasional lateness which we know may not be avoided and the early hiccup with the credit control department having lost my
original direct debit mandate form, I have no further comments.
