Sierra provided the most wonderful ladies to be with my elderly mother.
I had moved in with her to care for her but when I needed a break Sierra were there, for both of us.
Each person who came to be with mum were introduced to her before they were left alone with her, so trust was gained.
They were great company for mum, made her lunch, helped her to get around the house and engaged in conversation .
Sierra are a flexible company who really do understand the needs of the client and that of their families. For me, they came up with suggestions of how they could help more .
Their communication is excellent and every team member I came into contact with was superb. Friendly, caring and very professional.

My dad has early on set dementia and we needed a company who we could trust, the staff are amazing. My dad loves to see his carers. He cannot wait for them to visit. This for my family is important, his health and welfare. Sierra HomeCare put us at ease looking after our dad. I would recommend the

My Mum has dementia and has become quite frail. From the first conversation we felt Sierra understood exactly what Mum needed. As a small Care Agency you don't feel like it's all about the money. They were all extremely professional and a delight to talk to. Mum really enjoyed their visits too.
Whenever we had a query or a medical issue the office were always at hand and extremely helpful. When Mum went into hospital Sierra kept in touch with me to see how she was - how lovely is that! I highly recommend Sierra to anyone looking for personal assistance.

I was first introduced to Sierra Homecare a month after my dear father passed away . . As soon as the manager picked up the phone I felt I could talk and the empathy and understanding was immediately there . The manager and her team guided us through and we are now 10 months in. The team at Sierra
know exactly her needs and wants they provide a wonderful companionship , outings , walks , meals etc ..The manager is great at the communication side with us and if there are any doubts or concerns they are easily dealt with but of course the experience of the team know just how to help and reassure mum. I've noticed wonderful relationships build with mum and would highly recommend the team to friends and family . Thankyou to the manager for your ongoing help and a special Thankyou to all the ladies of Sierra, you have all slotted into mums life giving both my brother and sister the reassurance and peace of mind we needed .

When I have any problems, I have had so much support and when I need to go somewhere I have had staff take me, for example, to hospital appointments. Overall, the care and experience is excellent. I would recommend you to friends.

The team at Sierra Care have been exactly what we needed for my dad and I would recommend others to use them.
He was recently widowed and so needed extra support at home for his general welfare and peace of mind for us grown-up children who don't live close by.
The Sierra team stepped in to
check on him daily and make a snack, and drink and check he was taking medication. They offered compassion and conversation, which was greatly appreciated.
They were in regular contact with the family, open to discussing his changing needs, and very willing to make short-notice changes in requirements.
We are very grateful to the care team for their work with us.

Sierra was engaged to provide domiciliary care for my mother when she left hospital after a fall in January 2022. At the outset she was assessed, her needs and wishes taken into account and a plan was put into place.
During the last 2½ years, Sierra has provided my mother with the right level of
care, adjusting as her mobility declined while always taking her requirements into account. Any suggestions for changes and improvements are discussed and questions are answered directly and helpfully. The members of staff are courteous and engage not just her but also her family in conversation. The staff are punctual and when an exception occurs there is always a good reason and a telephone call. The client is at the centre of the team and other members of the family feel part of it too.
Sadly, as her mobility has declined still further and following another fall, my mother has decided it is now time to go into residential care.
We are truly grateful to Sierra for all they have done.

Sierra Homecare was recommended to me by a community nurse who uses them for her own mum. They are excellent from the management to the ladies who come in to look after the clients. Always punctual and you are given the weekly roster good honoured, generally interested in you and ready to go the
extra mile for you. I can only count on my good fortune to have had the pleasure of this company and would recommend them without hesitation.

I really fell on my feet when I came across Sierra Homecare. Right from the get-go I got through to a person, no press 1 for this 2 for that, and from that very first conversation, I knew they would just be perfect for my mum. One of the owners and a member of staff came out to see my mum to find
out her needs and wishes, they then put a plan in place which was never changed. My mum had a small team who went in daily, to help her wash, dress, etc. - they were the kindest, sweetest bunch of ladies - true carers. Nothing was too much trouble and it was lovely to see her build friendships after becoming more and more housebound. After a nasty fall earlier this year, Mum decided it was time to go into residential care, the manager kept in contact throughout her hospital stay and I felt supported during this process. The carers have even visited her in her new home - you can’t ask for better than that! A true family business that cares about its clients as if they are their own. Thank you for everything.

Following a poor experience with another home care provider, we looked for a more sensitive local carer for my mum, who was very elderly (now 100+). Her short-term memory had deteriorated and that required patience on the part of the carers. Sierra is a much smaller company than we had before,
hands-on managed by two of the nicest and most professional managers you could hope to meet. They arranged for Mum to have the support of a small group of female carers, who were very attentive and chatty, enjoying Mum's various anecdotes from the past. We were kept very well informed about Mum's needs and, being local, we could quickly attend to shopping or medical requirements. It was lovely that the carers took an interest in Mum's family. We came to regard them as friends, and there was much humour. Mum has now moved into a local care home because by December 2023 she was in need of 24-hour care. Based on our experience, I could not recommend Sierra enough.

I can't believe how lucky we were to find Sierra Homecare - I'd spoken to a number of other agencies but was struck in the initial interview by the difference. The manager focused on getting to know Dad and managed to get him to talk about Mum who had only recently died. She put in a brilliant
small regular team to suit his needs and communicated with me every week. All the carers turned up as planned and treated Dad with dignity, kindness and humour so he looked forward to seeing each one. His most regular carer was perfect for him - making him chuckle, encouraging him to do what he could himself, and bringing him out of his normally shy self. All were totally competent, caring and professional. Sadly after a stay in hospital, at 95, he could no longer be left on his own overnight so we were advised that he would be safer in a residential home. I am truly grateful to the Sierra Homecare team for everything they have done.

I cannot thank this company enough for the care, compassion and professionalism given. I consider myself and my friend they were looking after for the past year fortunate to have chosen their services offered. I knew nothing about Sierra Homecare other than picking from a list of providers given to
me. From the onset of the thorough review at the house by their manager for needs and requirements, and to the honesty of the care they could provide and also from their experiences what would be appropriate. A lovely team was put in place offering continuity, competence and genuine care. It was only after a year and the requirement medically to have to transfer to residential care, we had to end our home service. However, I was pleased to know that another individual and family would be able to be comforted in their safe hands. It was really lovely to be able to keep my relative at home for as long as possible and the reassurance they gave to both of us.

I really love this care company. The owners are such a nice couple and very accommodating to my needs. The carers themselves have been well-trained and are delightful. I’ve had other care providers in the past, but this one is by far the best.

I cannot rave about Sierra care enough. They bent over backwards to fit us in during winter snow when all the carers were so busy. They have been a lifeline for our family. The stress it’s taken off the family knowing that my father-in-law was being looked after. Although he needed minimal
assistance, knowing someone was popping in each day to keep him safe and more importantly, sane was such a relief to us. After meeting most of his carers, they are all so friendly and diligent. Would happily recommend this lot!

My client has been using Sierra Homecare for two years now, and we have been very happy with the level of service offered, including getting the shopping! It is very easy to get through to them with queries, and they contact me straight away if there are any concerns. My client had a fall one
morning, and it was Sierra Homecare who found her and called the ambulance. They also sit with her and have a chat which keeps her connected socially. I would have no hesitation in recommending Sierra Homecare for all your care needs at home.

After trying many other providers, our family feels very fortunate that we came across Sierra Homecare. We are extremely happy with them and could not recommend them more highly. All the staff provide exceptional service. All the staff go above and beyond with their care of our mother, who now
regards them as close friends as well as service providers. Having used them for three years, first for our father and then our mother, I would recommend Sierra Homecare without hesitation.

The manager stepped in at short notice to look after my father-in-law to enable us to have a few days away. He enjoyed the girl's company, and we had peace of mind while away without any worry. I wouldn’t hesitate to engage them again in the future.
