I have had dealings with a number of care agencies now for my elderly parents, but Poole Home Care are a cut above the rest. The staff are all so friendly, kind, fun, caring and compassionate. Having carers in your home can feel intrusive, but all the staff at Poole Home Care feel like family coming in every day. They are professional, we know all of their names, they always introduce themselves. With other care agencies, you see someone new every visit and they rarely introduce themselves. Poole Home Care make the effort to call not only my mum (who they are visiting) but also the rest of the family by their names. They are always smartly presented, they always wear their uniform (you'd be amazed by other companies who do not do so). Not one member of the team has made us feel uncomfortable and they really do seem to care. I cannot recommend them highly enough.

If you are looking for a Care Provider then do not look any further than Poole Home Care. From the minute I spoke to Sam and then Abbie who came out to have the initial assessment chat with my 93 year old Mum who has dementia and myself, we knew we had chosen an exceptional care company and we have not been disappointed. Sam and his team of Angels are fantastic, taking time to talk to my mum, handling her with care and compassion but firm when they needed to be with her. They listened to her, chatted and sang with her as she loves music and nothing was too much trouble and they treated Mum with respect. Mum could be, as was on several occasions, quite stubborn and challenging but they coped wonderfully with her and I cannot praise them enough. Thank you so very much to you all for your care and compassion and I am more than happy to recommend you to future clients.

Absolutely fantastic company. PHC have looked after my dad for nearly 2 years. All of the staff and the owners are so lovely, caring, kind and professional. We have used other care companies over the past 10 years and PHC are the best. We cannot fault them. The care my dad received was perfect, this meant Dad could stay in his own home right until the end, which was very important to him. It wasn't just Dad who got well looked after, we as a family did too. Thank you.

Nothing was too much trouble for Abbie, Kelly, Sam and team at Poole home care. They adapted to the growing needs for my dad and we were very grateful. Poole Home Care have been looking after my Mum for the best part of two years now, after her discharge from hospital following a fall which has left her with a broken arm. The agency were originally recommended to me by a friend whose father had been looked after by them. I cannot fault the standard of their care. All the staff are very friendly, willing, obliging, and capable, whether it be the office staff or the carers who visit Mum. Nothing seems too much trouble for them. They all have a very positive attitude to work. Mum enjoys the visits from the carers and as she loves to have a chat, she has got to know some of them really well, so much so that they have become more like friends to her than carers. The visits help to break up Mum's day and improves her mood and in so doing gives me peace of mind that she is being looked after really well.

From the initial assessment meeting, some months ago, until now I have nothing but praise for Poole Home Care. Staff within the office and the carers are friendly, profesional, efficient and helpful. The carers care for my mother (late stage dementia) with empathy, kindness and a 'can do' attitude. My mother is content and happy.

The Poole Home Care team have provided aid for my mother since December 2024 and I am very happy with the service their staff and the office offer. My mother became a widow in February 2025 and their cheerfulness, patience and kindness have been such a help to her as she adjusts to being on her own despite her reluctance and difficult persona. I would have no hesitation in recommending Poole Home Care to anyone who feels they need that extra help, their professionalism and friendliness have been a lifeline for my mother.

We were extremely lucky to find Poole Home Care to look after Mum nearly two years ago. With Dad now needing a little help, they have encompassed his needs seamlessly. They have been extraordinarily helpful, caring, adaptable and professional from day one. The carers bring sunshine into the house with every visit. The office team are more than helpful. They juggle visits at the last minute should things change at home and they have an endless knowledge and understanding of difficult situations. I would, and have, recommend the company without hesitation.

Poole H C have visited Dad for over a year and we are so happy with the care,service,communication, knowledge and flexibility. He can have off days, sometimes wanders but the staff manage this and it's easy to get in contact to update. They are flexible, understanding, knowledgable and Dad benefits greatly from this. They respond to queries and requests effectively and when we experience glitches they always do their utmost to accommodate. The changes that came with dementia were quite overwhelming at first but as time has gone on I now know I have people in this with me, with Dads wishes and safety at the centre of it all. On top of the day to day they are employed for there is always someone with a bit of advice for problems that crop up as the carers have seen it all. I am not local to Dad and it is lovely to have peace of mind that he not only has multiple visits to take care of his day to day needs but that he has that contact, some conversation and any issues are flagged up fast

Due to my Dad's poor health and mobility it had become necessary to get another carer to work with our current carer. Poole Home Care were recommended to us and I am so pleased that they were. They have been coming to us for about a month now and have been absolutely wonderful to have around .Every single one of the carers who come through our doors are extremely respectful of my Dad despite his disabilities, they almost become members of our family with their dedicated car. It really does help. They have been so helpful to my Mum and work really well with our carer who has been with us over 4 years, looking after my Dad as his Alzheimer's worsened. My Dad cannot do anything for himself, yet somehow there is such a degree of dignity given to him and for that, Mum and I cant praise them enough. It is not an easy process to have our loved ones cared for but I can highly recommend the team at Poole Home Care, they are professional, tender when needed, friendly, everything that you want

We have a fairly complex home with multiple bedding options and cutlery etc and all the carers try to get it right if in doubt a quick were does this go works well All the carers are very polite and friendly and usually have time to chat which is just as important the work that they do the office staff are also good at letting you know if there is an delay and in an emergency are willing to help with the care. The carers always treat you with respect

I honestly cannot recommend them Poole Home Care enough! Such an amazing team! We needed a care team to care for my Aunt of 86 years old with poor mobility, risk of fall and dementia. She needed multiple visits a day - Someone recommended Poole Home Care and from the very start, myself and my family knew we were in safe hands. They quickly identified how stressed we all were and immediately stepped in with expert care, recommendations, suggestions and logistical and moral support. Through this whole experience my Aunt's dignity was protected and she was treated with nothing but respect. Every member of their team were positive, patient, kind and caring. I am eternally grateful for everyone at Poole Home Care and I can't believe how lucky we were to find such an amazing team! Thank you!

My wife having had Covid and suffering for about the last four years unable to stand has been looked after by a team of amazingly kind staff. Two staff four times a day when nothing was too much trouble, keeping her clean and tidy and always having a laugh and a sing-song and a smile, and if needed in a hurry would always try be available. This family firm needs nothing but the highest praise and I would recommend them to anyone who would like to get in touch with me. Just ask for my phone number.

I cannot recommend Poole Home Care more to anyone who needs or whose loved one may need care. They are run by the two kindest and most knowledgeable people in this sector I have ever met. We have experience and clear comparisons as we used other care agencies before finding Poole Home Care and found them by recommendation from satisfied clients' families. Each and every one of their staff truly cared for my mum in every way possible and she cared for them too. They maintained not just her personal care, medicines and nutrition but also her emotions. They respected are dignity and protected her emotionally. Additionally, they cared about me as a family member which was at times invaluable. Her home was filled with laughter when the care team visited and she was able to remain at home until a natural end because of the team. This was her greatest wish and could not have been achieved without them. I will be eternally grateful to Poole Home Care for their professional care and respect.

Poole Home Care was recommended to me when my mother needed help with her personal care between October 2021 and March 2024. The staff were always professional, and very caring doing all they could to make her life more comfortable. Mum looked forward to the visits, the family appreciated all the staff did and knew she was in good safe hands. The Manager and his staff were always contactable, Mum had regular updates to her care plans based on her changing needs. I can't speak highly enough of the care she received, hence why I have given them 5* experience.

Poole Home Care put caring at the top of the list. They have a lot of experienced carers who adapt to my mum's changing needs and are always kind and thoughtful about their care provision and responsive and adaptable to any changing needs. We have been with them for several years and my Mum has made good relationships with her carers, many of whom have worked with Poole Home Care for many years and that makes such a difference. I do trust them to care well for my Mum.

My aunt lives on her own and will be 94 years old this year. She has the start of dementia and it is difficult for her to cook, clean and look after the house and herself. Got in touch with Poole Home Care and the staff have been first class in looking after my aunt. I live 200 miles from my aunt and on a recent visit found Aunty in good spirits with the house really clean and tidy. All the staff were friendly and professional.

Poole Home Care are simply the most caring, sympathetic, professional, loving team you could ever wish to have looking after your loved ones. Seeking help through our doctors we were very fortunate to hear of Poole Home Care and their incredible team. Most adults that need care often find it so hard to adapt to accepting strangers into their homes. It’s a very upsetting time with losing their independence but with Poole Home Care, the team very quickly became like family to us. Hospital visits, change of mobility, day trips, medical assistance, and even late-night advice. Dad's wicked sense of humour and the banter they all shared with him was priceless. He looked forward to each visit and he felt safe as he was in loving hands. It was always his wish to remain in his own home and Poole Home Care made that happen right up to his passing this year. I only say that if you are lucky enough to have Poole Home Care in your life, your loved ones will find the later years a lot easier. Thank you.
