View Full Details of Avenue Care Services - FifeHave a great rapport with Avenue staff and carers. The carers provide a great service in dealing with my husband's needs and allow me to deal with other things. The carers give me respect and are always on time are extremely supportive. They are reliable, trustworthy and friendly and are like members of my family. If there are any issues I can mention this to the carers or by phoning the office and it will be dealt with. The staff are friendly and helpful. My husband is treated with dignity and respect at all times and would recommend Avenue to friends and family.
Have received great care from Avenue Care Services. Carers have met my needs and requirements with compassion and professionalism. The carers I get are friendly and supportive to me and my family they carry out all tasks and are professional and passionate in there job and would certainly recommend to anyone who needs help. I am emailed weekly stating times of my visits and who will be the attending carer. If I have any issues I can phone up the office and speak to a member of staff who are interested in what I have to say and are friendly and approachable and understanding. I am treated with dignity and respect by all members of staff and carers which is like a member of the family.
Cannot fault at all above and beyond for the care off my brother and nothing is a problem. All staff are caring and considerate take into account the needs off each individuals which is much appreciated
I've seen a great improvement in communication with Avenue Care. Listening and being supportive in an ever changing landscape of needs. In recent times I've had to adjust care needs and they've helped me with this journey. I feel like I can speak with them straightaway (even out of hours) with no fuss or hassle and they take the time to listen to me. My aunt tells me she likes the carers and is comfortable with their help. We appreciate their support. Thank you.
Hello. I was asked to do this review by a member of Avenue staff. I find that the staff that visit me are professional, helpful and do what is required of them to do in the client contract which is re-done every 6 months as far as I know. The staff that visit me are very professional, cheerful, funny (at times) and helpful within the bounds of the service plan. The times that they come at are mostly on time except for temporary changes due to staffing issues of which they mostly inform me of if they can.
I have been a client of Avenue for over eleven years. The carers have always arrived in a timely manner and have been respectful as they have assisted me. The management/ office team have also been very supportive when I have felt that I needed to turn to them.
She is however, very happy with the care she gets from her carers. I couldn't answer about management as I dont know who is who
I have been a client of Avenue's Service for a number of years. Their carers attend to my specific needs to help me get dressed in the mornings. I have impaired use of my left arm and significant neuro pain which adversely affects my ability to put my clothes and medical support items on in the morning. The carers are all very good and listen to my advice and how my condition presents each morning. The scheduling is responsive any changes I need. My concern is ensuring that carers are paid sufficiently with the challenges the Service faces. However, I believe this is a Council issue.
My mum moved out of a nursing home and into sheltered housing. I was very anxious about the carers as I had never heard of the company before. It took a while for the carers and my mum to get to know each other and build a relationship due to Mum having no speech. I have to say that the care they provided my mum was really good. Mum appeared happy and they made her laugh. I built a good relationship with them to, I knew I could trust them to do a good job.
The staff at Avenue Care, covering Rosyth, helped my Dad so much with daily visits twice a day. They were always very reliable and always communicated if an unavoidable delay was happening. My Dad required help with daily washing, and this could have been a difficult experience for him as he was a very proud man, but the Avenue Care staff treated him with professionalism and compassion, allowing him to retain his sense of humour and more importantly his dignity. As a family we cannot thank each and everyone one of them enough for their care of our lovely Dad Mike.
Since Avenue gained the contract for caring for my mother they have breached the agreed care agreement which was it had to be a female only on her dialysis days which is Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday. This is due to her needing to have a shower in the morning before going. On Saturday 8th the carer was a female but was very late so had not had time for a shower. She has not managed to get showered since Thursday 6th April. She does not have a problem with the carers but will not accept a male helping her have a shower. The rating for care is only due to not being able to have a shower. She is happy with the staff.
