I recently used 'Five Star Homecare' to provide wellbeing support for my 89-year-old dad, and I couldn't be more grateful for the service they provided. Every carer who visited him showed such kindness and professionalism, which gave me real peace of mind. Their warmth genuinely brightened his days,
and he spoke so positively about each visit.
The added bonus was their app, where each visit was recorded in detail. Being able to check in and see how he was doing was incredibly reassuring.
I can't thank 'Five Star Homecare' enough and would absolutely recommend them to anyone looking for compassionate, reliable care.

Have been using Fivestar Homecare for a number of months now. Ironed out initial issues and I find that the company are always very amenable to any required changes or feedback.
Have been very helpful of late, highlighting any concerns to us around my dad on their daily visits so that we can work
together to make sure he has the best support in place.

The care and attention provided to Mum over the last 6 months has been excellent. Whilst she can not always have the same care person, the one who frequents and attends her the most has formed a great relationship with Mum providing a daily routine as well as adapting to her varying needs to service
her overall wellbeing.
The daily, morning visits from the girls, sets her up for the day ensuring she is dressed and attired appropriately whilst ensuring she takes medication, has hearing aids inserted as well as other facial additions so she is presentable. Making her breakfast, prepping some easy accessible lunch such as a sandwich, shopping here and there and laundry are all part of weekly tasks that is now routine. Mum is now most accepting of the visits and knows what to expect. She's grateful for their continued support that is done so with kindness, encouragement and dignity. The care plan is also regularly checked to support both present and changing needs. Well done Five Star.

Five Star has been supporting my mum for about 2 years. Their service has been continuously excellent. All the staff are professional and caring. The management is always responsive and very easy to contact.
Time keeping and communication are both excellent. We appreciate that as much as possible

We were recommended Five Star HomeCare Services and have no hesitation recommending this excellent company ourselves. We've been using the service for nearly a year. The carers go above and beyond to help my in-laws. They are professional, friendly, caring and work hard to build trust and rapport
even in challenging situations. The daily updates on the app are very helpful. Excellent communication between family, management and carers. If the carers have any concerns, suggestions or queries they phone the family immediately. Definitely a 5* company.

I have a regular carer, Shireena, with this company, I couldn't imagine my life without her. They arrange for her to accompany me to appointments and other social groups I attend, also shopping. They rearrange dates and times when I have made mistakes by getting confused with no problem. They had
patience and understanding when my invoices have been paid late through no fault of my own but due to a managed bank account. I would recommend this company as a service provider as I needed quite a few in my time so consider myself to know how to distinguish between a good and bad company.

After my experience with 5 Star Homecare, they could easily be a plus in front of the 5 star . The care , attentiveness, empathy shown to my Dad is exceptional. My Dad who lives on his own enjoys visits from all the carers and also his shopping trips.
The management team are always available when
you need to contact them . The app is updated each visit with plenty of useful information which is important as Dad has dementia. If there is anything urgent they contact you and can offer advice if needed for a corrective action. This is a very stressful time with Dad's dementia and Five Star Homecare have worked wonders in helping alleviate a lot of that. Cannot recommend this company highly enough.

A good and dependable service with good Carers.
Carers are a friendly face for Mother's care and communicate well with me with regard to any issues that arise from time to time.
Sometimes 'challenging' for Carers to strike the right balance when 'encouraging' Mum to do as she's asked (bathing,
eating and medication) but handled with diplomacy and in a helpful, supportive and friendly manner, generally with positive outcomes.

I extended mum's morning call to one hour , the bathroom in her sheltered housing flat was being totally replaced and redecorated. At 94 this was a big disruption causing much stress for mum etc. It took just over 2 weeks in total , I explained to mum I would set up a washing set up so carers could
be there an hour( instead of 30mins ) in her lounge. It all worked really well the carers were brilliant , mum was pretty relaxed about it even when the builders were busy. 5 star have always been easy to reach , adapt if I need to change something even at short notice.

All the staff have been polite, friendly and very professional. They attend my Mum and put all our families mind at rest that she is receiving good quality care. They are so patient with her and have a good old friendly chat with her throughout their visit. They've also gone above and beyond with

This is the first time we have had to use a care company for my dad who has dementia, so understandably we were apprehensive.
We have only been with five star since Christmas but we are delighted with the care dad is receiving and dad really enjoys the visits.
They give his his meds on a morning and

Just wanted to leave a few words to show both my mums, mine and our families gratitude to the service provided by Five Star Home Care Leeds Ltd. Definitely 5* by name and service. Initially we needed urgent care for my mother who lives alone, returned from hospital following an infection and
needed regular support. She's now recovering well and we continue to receive support from the caring staff that deliver her meds, give her regular company and a natter, assist with household tasks (hoover, clean and tidy, washing up, etc) all allowing mum to keep her independence but also feel helped, when needed. Communication is good, including use of app to get updates. Price is excellent. Overall we are both very happy with the service provided.

I can't recommed 5 star home highly enogh. They give such good piece of mind helping me support my elderly grandmother. The staff are always friendly and help her with the dialy taks she struggles to do on her own, while allowing her to maintain her indepedance.
