The Manager of Glory Care interviewed my 92 yr old mother and myself at home. She noted all our wishes, agreed on the number of days, and I was completely delighted in her handling of my mother. Mother's wishes were for a companion: to go out for short walks, chat, have a cup of tea and oversee
the late afternoon meal.
Having listened very carefully to my mother, the Manager selected a member of her team to visit, with a view to changing the team member if they didn't click. My mother and companion clicked instantly. They seemed to have the same sense of humour, enjoyed walking out together, and generally liked each other. I was delighted and for the following 6 months, the companion did not fail my mother in any way. Always on time, courteous, and willing. A wonderful match, which as it happened , lasted until my mother passed away 6 months later. Throughout that time, the office staff kept in touch to check everything was as it should be.

The Glorycrown team are a group of trained carers who value the individual service user and their family.
The care given is excellent, thoughtful and consistent. The staff are gentle and kind. In an emergency situation they know what course of action to take.
Promotion of independence and

My sister and I have been delighted with all of the care and support that Glorycrown provided for our Dad. All tasks were carried out with care and attention, maintaining our Dad's dignity all the time. Their approach to our Dad was always gentle, kind and with a smile. We appreciated their
communication with us and as they saw changes in our Dad they made helpful observations and suggestions to ensure our Dad was receiving the best possible service and care.

I just thought I had to email you and say how wonderful the carer is. She is so friendly, very caring and has got a lovely personality. Mum really likes her too as she talks to her in a non patronising way, which is really good for Mum's confidence.

Glorycrown cared for my mother from June 2020 until December 2023. As a family, we are so grateful that we found them! Their philosophy is to support a person to remain independent and to make her own decisions and they live that philosophy to the full. The carers consulted my mum on every decision,
large or small, and ensured her contentment and health for the last three and a half years of her life with their kindness and attention to detail. They contacted me or another relative about any concerns - physical, mental, emotional, nutritional, we could rely on them for total, thoughtful attention to my mum's needs and well-being. Other visitors were also struck by the gentle, thorough, friendly, and professional care my mum received, it seems from comments and comparisons that Glorycrown's standards and attention to detail are rare. Totally heartfelt recommendation.

I cannot praise this company enough for the care they are giving my mum. All the carers are polite, kind and considerate of my mum who is gravely ill.
Mum always enjoys a chat and a giggle with whoever tends her and she looks forward to seeing them each day.
I am also pleased with the
communication I receive from the staff and nothing is too much trouble either.

After a bad experience of care at home for Mum who is steadily developing dementia, it was so wonderful to find Glorycrown. The care and support that they have given Mum has been amazing and I would highly recommend them. Mum has not always been easy to please but the staff are always polite, kind
and patient with her. They are punctual and often go over and above in completing their tasks. The caring ethos of this company is excellent. They have also supported me during some difficult times with Mum.

We have found the carers to be very professional. They talk my aged father-in-law through with anything they will be doing for him.
They are always so light-hearted, friendly and willing to change or adapt the routine as needed.
Frankly, they have become practically part of the family.

Glorycrown Healthcare and it's staff provided my mother with an excellent service consisting of personal care and help with meals. This care enabled my mother to fulfill her wish, to remain in her own home during the last six months of her life.
The carers really did care, their visits were always
reliable, but they were also able to provide flexibility in response to my mother's care needs, going out of their way to provide care for an emergency situation.
The carers were polite, cheerful, kind and excellent at communicating both with my mother and myself; management responded quickly and efficiently to any queries I had.
I am very pleased with the care provided by Glorycrown and it's staff and have had no hesitation in recommending their services to acquaintances seeking to engage carers.

I live continents away from my mother and with her increasing dementia it's hard to understand, through phone calls with her, how her care is going. So it was a fabulous opportunity to visit and spend a period of time with her and meet her carers, watching their interactions with her. Additionally,
they have a web-based application that I can log into and see who is there and read the notes from their previous visits. It was deeply reassuring to see the care and respect they show to her and how each visit is aligned to getting my mum to do as much as she is capable of while ensuring her comfort and safety. They are kind and caring, professional and respectful and always clear in their communications with us about her needs and health. My older sister works closely with them around adjustments to care and scheduling of special needs and their responsiveness is phenomenal. I am so deeply grateful for the carers and the company that supports us and my mum so very well.

I have been very impressed with Glorycrown Healthcare Ltd since. We began using them for my husband's care. They are very careful to listen to my concerns regarding him, and both the carers and administrative staff go the extra mile to help us. Any problems are quickly dealt with, and we are kept
informed of any potential timing issues so they can be easily resolved. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them to anyone looking for care.

My mum has Alzheimer's and has been looked after by Glorycrown for nearly 2 years now since she came out of hospital in the summer of 2021. The standard of care and support is excellent and the kindness and flexibility shown by all the carers is heart-warming. Glorycrown is so much more caring and
engaged than the big-branded franchise carers we used at first. My mum has a small team of carers who rotate and my dad (who has Parkinson's so needs all the help he can get!) uses a website to see who's coming each day. At the annual review, I was asked to voice any observations/concerns and whilst I didn't have any concerns I did have a couple of suggestions which were listened to and actioned. Highly recommended.

The care currently being given to my 79-year-old wife is way beyond my expectations. Her bad anxiety means I too suffer distress and our regular care lady gives me the strength to keep going. She is always cheerful and upbeat and ready to rush to help us between regular visits even though she has to
rely on the local bus to do so! Phone advice and reassurance are always there when a crisis occurs. To put it bluntly, she is a true Angel of Mercy. Thank you so much from the bottom of my heart for all you are doing for us both. It is good to know that companies like Glory Crown and their staff still exist in this sad old world.

Glorycrown Healthcare has been caring for my mum for the last four months; they have enabled my mum to stay living in her home, stabilised her health conditions and helped her to keep her independence. They have developed a care package personalised to Mum’s needs. The staff are really professional
and treat Mum with great dignity and respect, they work together as a team and they are incredibly reliable. When there is an unexpected crisis they always attend to Mum quickly, there is always a manager available to contact who coordinates an appropriate response to the situation. Communication with Glorycrown is outstanding, the manager and staff are very supportive. Each care visit is logged on the app, so it is easy to check how Mum was at the visit and see if there are any points that need addressing. I have no hesitation in recommending Glorycrown, I feel fortunate that they were appointed to care for my mum and am so appreciative of all they do for my mum.

Glorycrown staff provided interventions for our father during the last three months of his life at his home. We appreciated that the staff were a small group of regular carers all of whom showed great expertise, care and thoughtfulness. Their professionalism was evident, they really put themselves
out and were very flexible when the package of care was amended twice. They were cheerful, respectful and engaged well with our father as his health deteriorated and they adapted to his increasing frailty.
As his daughters, we found the manager and all the staff very supportive and easy to contact and communicate with. We were grateful that with the support from the team, our father was able to remain in his own home until the final few days of his life. This was a great comfort to him and all the family.
We would wholeheartedly recommend Glorycrown and consider ourselves fortunate that they were appointed to care for our father.

Exceptional care looking after my father by each member of staff that visited. We looked forward to seeing them every day. My father did not want the care initially but I said ' please try dad', after his first visit he looked forward to their visits. So much care and empathy was given to my dad,
never rushed and I would highly recommend this company to anyone. We miss them all after my dad's passing as they became almost like family.
