View Full Details of Helping Hands Home Care (Evesham)From the first phone call to Mums care plan becoming active, I found all the staff friendly, knowledgeable & reassuring. Mum has found the process comforting & stress free which is great considering her early Alzheimer's. I wouldn't hesitate in recommending this company.
I contacted the Helping Hands branch manager to resolve the ongoing care issue. Branch manager handled the problem very well, which was impressive. She resolved the issue promptly with care and compassion. The most important thing for me was that she listened to what the family had to say. Been with Helping Hand for almost 25 years and never had a bad word to say. They are a very good care provider who looks after your loved one with the right attitude and care, and they are open to all needs. Highly recommended to everyone.
Very good. Very nice carers.
Got in touch with Helping Hands as I was looking for a carer/domestic helper who would visit my Mum at a regular time and not leave her not knowing if someone was coming or not. The young lady who visits now is always on time, very caring and always looking to fulfil Mum's needs and requests. As I live abroad I depend on the online communication very much. I am able to read how Mum was during the visit, she writes what she did i.e. changing the bed covers. Helping Hands even managed to organise a driver for Mum to take her to an appointment at short notice. All in all, I'm very pleased and Mum loves Sam's visits.
Helping Hands were the fourth care agency we had used to help with my demented 90 year old mum. In contrast to others they did everything professionally but also in a friendly and sensitive way. Most of all they were kind to mum and reliable. Every experience we had was positive over a period of 18 months and I can unreservedly recommend them to anyone in a similar position to myself.
Helping Hands provided temporary home care to my wife every morning for about a month to support her recovery after she came home from hospital after a major operation. Each Carer helped my wife to wash / shower, assisted in maintaining personal hygiene, put on the dreaded surgical stockings, helped her to dress and generally got her ready to face the day ahead. Without exception, each one of Helping Hands' staff were friendly, polite, compassionate, understanding, thoroughly professional and arrived on time. My wife also enjoyed the brief chat with them each morning and looked forward to their daily visits. We were delighted with the service which met all our expectations.
Myself and my brother employed Helping Hands as my mother was diagnosed with vascular Dementia and she wanted to remain in her own home for as long as possible. So we employed Helping Hands to provide an hours daily care for a lunchtime visit to cook her a meal and prepare her tea and a two hour visit for a wash once a week as well. I found that this worked very well for us and covered all the bases once a care plan with the management was agreed. Once that was agreed it was very easy to hold Helping Hands to account with the daily objectives which were the same everyday with other objectives added depending on the day of the week, one day we would add cleaning the kitchen and the next day do mum's food shopping. The communication was very good if anything was required or any issues Helping Hands would always call me and we would agree a plan with them. But now unfortunately the dementia is getting worse and for her own safety she has had to go into long term care for her own safety.
Happy with the service and timekeeping. Happy that management has been able to secure extra call time with social services. Staff assist with extra requirements as and when needed.
My husband has been a client for five years approximately. We have been extremely satisfied with both the care and kindness he has received. The attention and approach are always cheerful and professional. He feels he always has a friend when the carers are here!
