Our family encountered First Care Healthcare Ltd through our dissatisfaction with a previous healthcare provider. From the onset Tancia and her team demonstrated outstanding care for our terminal, ill father.
The care he receives is administered through compassion, care, empathy and respect.
Within a short space of time a, positive repport had developed between our father and the staff members.
With every visit, they give a sense of reasurrance, which he appreciates. We found that the staff present themselves well in a warm friendly and professional manner, with uniforms clean and neat.
As a family, it was apparent our father was receiving the best of care. In return this, gave us all a sense of peace during the challenging circumstances.
Although Tancia and her team were commisioned to care for our father, we found that their call to duty went beyond their vocation always enquiring about our wellbeing, and willing to help in whatever way possible.
They come highly recommended

We began using the service only a couple of months ago and during this time i have nothing but positive comments.
Tancia and her team have been amazing. They have taken so much care with mom since the start. They make her smile, make her feel comfortable and show so much care in what they do.
Nothing is ever too much trouble.
They are all compassionate, caring and professional and I would like to thank you all so much for looking after mom.

My brother was discharged from hospital to receive palliative care at home, and later that evening Tancia and Earl arrived, introducing themselves and clearly explaining the support they would provide.
I was particularly touched by Tancia's sensitivity by not openly referencing to his end-of-life
medication and understood when I suggested it be set aside until needed, and Anthony's support on the morning after my brother transitioned.
My brother was determined to remain upbeat, and as a family we supported that. First Care adapted seamlessly, delivering care that reflected his wishes. He was surrounded by warmth, laughter and dignity until his transition.
First Care Healthcare are professional, culturally aware, compassionate, respectful and engaging. Their care was person-centred, flexible and delivered with genuine understanding. I would highly recommend them for both the quality of care provided and the invaluable support given to our family during a very difficult time.

We've not been using this company very long to help care for my mum, but I felt I had to give a review.
The care my mum has been receiving is amazing. The staff interact really well with my mum who has dementia, they always arrive on time, they leave her looking/feeling lovely and clean, and
she's always smiling when they leave.
Nothing is too much trouble, and they always find time for a friendly chat once they've finished.
Thank you Tancia and to your lovely team of carers. You don't realise how much of a weight has been lifted since we started using your services.

The overall experience with Tancia and team is amazingly great. They are providing excellent care for my family member. They are compassionate in their approach and always respectful, always smiling, speaking gently with kindness. My family member always feels good after they come as they are so
kind, understanding and always make him smile.

My mother has been using First Care Homecare for approximately ten months and needs help with all aspects of care which includes washing, administering medication, household chores and meal preparation.
I cannot praise the manager highly enough. A care plan has been arranged by the manager and is
clearly understood and adhered to by all members of the team.
The manager is one of the most empathetic and patient people I have ever met - nothing phases her.
My mother suffers from dementia and at times her behaviour can be challenging but the manager goes out of her way to reassure her that she is safe and will sit and hold her hand which calms her. The team take the same approach and are never offended by any negative behaviour they may witness.
The managers' caring and nursing skills are amazing and I have no hesitation in recommending First Care Healthcare to anyone - you can be assured that a loved one will be properly cared for and treated with dignity.

First Care Healthcare provides excellent care services, the team are always professional, kind, thoughtful and empathetic to the needs of the person they are caring for and the family. Receiving the news that my dad was terminally ill and the only treatment was palliative care was devastating. You
are required to open your home to people you've never met who are going to help care for the most important person in your life. First care healthcare made this easy for us, they were truly invested in building relationships, providing advice, always treating my dad with dignity and empathy. I highly recommend First care healthcare and can't thank them enough for the care and support they showed to my dad and the family.

We have been using this company since my mother-in-law came out of hospital in August of this year (2024.) They have been absolutely amazing with the care they have given my mother-in-law and I, personally cannot thank them enough. If you need any kind of personal care, I would seriously recommend

My mum returned home on a full palliative care package with First Care Healthcare. From the moment that we met the manager, we felt very reassured that our mum would receive good care. The care she received was, in fact, excellent. There was a small team of about six carers. We got to know them very
well. The staff were very kind to mum and ourselves. They really wanted to ensure that she was not only clean and comfortable, but that she also felt respected and maintained her dignity. Whilst it was only ten days that we had mum at home, the team listened to our concerns, helped us with positioning mum so that she was comfortable, and when we asked them not to do their usual routine with her because she was uncomfortable, they listened to our suggestions and just did the minimal required. We found all of the team very trustworthy. As family members, we developed a good relationship with them and looked forward to their frequent daily visits. We would thoroughly recommend them.

I am happy that over the last four months, mom has received the best care to be able to remain in her own home. Much credit is due to all involved who treat mom with respect and are friendly and compassionate. The manager is very hands-on and I am confident that I would be made aware of any health
concerns or otherwise. Long may this continue.

We contacted the Manager in July last year having read the positive reviews online. The Manager and her team have become an integral part of our lives. They have demonstrated their professional care for my mum from day one, but more than that we all feel that they truly care about her, and about us
as a family. As others have said they are completely reliable and treat mum with dignity and compassion. We work together to communicate any changes in mum's health and well being, and to ensure her safety in her own home. This has taken a lot of the pressure off my family and I. We know that the coming years will be challenging, but having First Care Healthcare providing support to us, makes me feel a lot more positive about the future. I would not hesitate to recommend the Manager and her team to anyone needing support for themselves or their loved ones.

We have been using First Care Healthcare Ltd for almost a year now and are so pleased that this company was recommended to us by a family friend from her experience with them. The Manager and her team excel at what they do, nothing is too much trouble and we are very impressed with their service.
They never let us down and go above and beyond with their caring. They are reliable and treat my mum with such kindness and dignity. Punctual with visits and in constant communication about her care. More recently they have been looking after my father too who is more challenging, but they have an understanding of exactly the care needs of both and this clearly shows. They have given our family peace of mind knowing that our loved ones are being looked after so well, it has been a great weight off our minds and I would have no hesitation in recommending this company if you are looking for a professional small team who are passionate about caring. I would highly recommend First Care Healthcare Ltd for the exceptional care and support they provided to my friend when she was discharged home from hospital in May last year. It was her wish to return home and this would only have been possible with a package of care. This was her first experience
of care at home and something which she was quite anxious about.
The care manager and carers from the onset provided reassurance and encouragement to ensure my friend felt comfortable with their input. A small consistent team of carers provided calls daily which worked well in building up a good understanding and rapport. They worked efficiently and showed real dedication to their work.
The manager kept in contact with me to report any relevant information/concerns so that I could follow up as required.

I live in Australia and arranged a companion carer for my father who lives in the UK. The manager was extremely helpful and communicative. The carer was kind and very patient. I received a full report after the care session.
Everything was made easy and I would definitely recommend this care

The Manager and her team (First Care Healthcare) helped care for my Mum between June and December last year (2022).
From the beginning the Manager was great, with a caring 'can do' attitude which stood out from other recent experience. She and her team are warm, friendly, efficient, and practical
and had respect and understanding of what mum needed them to do - in contrast to the things Mum could and wanted to do for herself (although they would never just presume and always checked through things with her). When I requested that mum (who had dementia and mobility issues), would be better served by one specific carer, the Manger was honest that this might be difficult, but did her best to facilitate, so that mostly this was the case. When not, the several carers we met were all excellent anyway. The team are well managed and knowledgeable and showed invaluable common sense as well. The Manager being a fully qualified nurse was helpful and reassuring.
I wholeheartedly recommend it. Thank you!

Our mom is now in the later stages of dementia and it was a priority to keep her at home living with her family but we could no longer provide the level of personal care that she needed. We are so happy with the consistently high levels of support and care that is provided. The team of carers are
wonderful, we look forward to seeing them and consider them like family since they have become such an important part of mom's care. They are thoughtful, friendly, compassionate, warm, knowledgeable, and positive and are so lovely to mom and patient and understanding of her needs. When mom required an emergency ambulance during a visit they spoke to the emergency services and stayed with us until the ambulance arrived, going above and beyond to provide support not just to our mom but to my sister and I. Caring for a loved one with dementia can be so overwhelming and isolating but this team have helped my mom and my family so much, I really don't know how we would have managed without them.

First Care Healthcare replied promptly to my request regarding the care required for my mother. The manager works and supports new staff to provide consistent care to meet my mother's needs. My mother receives continuity from a small team of staff, enabling her to get to know them, which is
essential when providing personal care. A few challenges and concerns have been actioned quickly and professionally to resolve issues. The staff are punctual, respectful and caring. They have a sense of humour and a good rapport with my mother. Hence, I would recommend First Care Healthcare.

There has been a prolonged and steady decline in my mother's physical and mental health (memory problems) for well over a decade now. Sadly the past twelve months have brought a sharp decline and marked deterioration. This is what prompted the family to seek outside care and support. The initial
package of care is still in the early stages (currently one visit per day for personal care). However, the additional help and support are a most welcome relief both physically and mentally. Our mum is well cared for and treated with dignity and respect. The care rate (compared to others) is also good value for money.

First Care were a wonderful personal care provider for my parents and nothing was ever too much trouble for the small but very knowledgeable team. It was a delight to see the carers interacting with my parents and they both really looked forward to their visits.
On several occasions, the ‘First
Care’ carer stayed just that bit longer than their allotted time to make sure my parents were safe and settled. I would not hesitate to recommend the services of the manager and her team!
