I started having care on 11 September 2023, on a small 2x a week. Over the months, more care was needed as my needs were always met by the team at all times. The care was exemplary and all of the carers were kind, friendly and very efficient. I would strongly recommend the company to anyone in need
of care. One of the best things was being welcomed by a big smile. They clearly love their work.

We wasn't sure what to expect when we started with Harwig, but we were overwhelmed with the quality of their care, love & support.
They did everything that was planned & agreed plus lots more often calling in between the schedule to help us.
In what is a tough job, their professionalism was
outstanding but more than anything, we could see that they really cared.
We are so grateful to them for everything that they did for us.

We are generally very happy with the service you provide. Whenever my mother has had problems or issues with her care, this has been quickly and efficiently resolved.
The staff are friendly and approachable. I am not often there when a carer is in attendance but recently I was impressed with the
interaction between the carer and my mother.

We are delighted by the standard of care and support from Hartwig. All the carers visiting my sister have shown excellent levels of care and support; they are truly lovely people and a delight to be with.

A wonderful care company who continue to support my 92 year old mum. Carers are genuinely caring and she loves them. There is low staff turnover and many of the carers are local to the area. Where possible, there is consistency in terms of the number of carers who visit which provides continuity
and comfort as they are able to build positive relationships and really get to know mum's needs. The management is effecient and responsive and again, you feel that they genuinely care about their clients and aim to provide a first class service. Great care company- highly recommended.

My mother, suffering from dementia has been having carers from Hartwig every morning and evening for the last six months. My mum was resistant to having care, but because of the amazing care and attention that each and every staff member gives, she really looks forward to their visits. I can't
rate the manager and her team highly enough.

Hartwig have been fantastic with providing overnight, weekend and respite care for my elderly mother.
Their carers have all been professional and caring, able to join in with mums sense of humour and give her wonderful care from the comfort of her own home.
The office staff have been response
and helpful in fulfilling my requests and also offering advice on certain issues.
I recommend Hartwig for anyone wanting professional and caring home care.

We have been delighted with the support that my father has received from his regular carer who collects him for a weekly exercise class. The carer arrives on time and joins him in the class and for socialising with other class members afterwards.

The team always have Dads health and well-being at the heart of everything they do.
They have helped us navigate some difficult times, taking a lead if necessary by helping get doctors appointments or suggesting changes to his care routine.

Hartwig provide good care for my mother. Her live-in career is excellent and the temporary replacement - to cover a period of extended leave - is also very caring. The additional overnight carers are also good although, perhaps inevitably, my mother likes some better than others.

The care provided by the team for my sister and brother in law is excellent. The support is reliable and the carers are always helpful and positive, and seem very responsive to day to day needs and problems. It is a great relief to feel that there is good care in place and there has been good
liaison and communication between the support team and the family to raise and resolve any issues arising. We really appreciate the support provided.

Mother with Dementia, now palliative...
As condition has progressed our care needs have become more complex and rigorous. I am immensely impressed with how our carers and the management team have helped us adjust and support us through this difficult period. I feel a very real sense that the team
can be relied upon and are going the extra mile on our behalf. We are working towards the same goal and I cannot imagine having anyone but the current team as carers.

The care provided by this team for my 95-year-old father is second to none. The carers are reliable and trustworthy, as well as being friendly and fun. They have made recent discharges from hospitals smooth and hassle-free and all staff demonstrate genuine concern for my father's well-being, health,
comfort and happiness. I am currently the main carer for my father and I simply couldn't do it without the comprehensive support, dedication and professionalism of Hartwig Care.

The carers for my dad are lovely, they are kind, caring and always give my dad (and Mum) the support they need.
When we need a variation to my Dad's usual rota, the office could not be more helpful and accommodating to ensure my dad's needs can be met.
Having this daily interaction with Hartwig
carers gives me the peace of mind that someone is seeing them everyday, as although I call daily, I am not always able to make contact with my mum till later in the day due to work priorities, so it really helps me too.
Thank you for everything you do for my Dad but also my Mum, as it gives her some time to just think and be herself without always having to work around my dad 24/7.

My dad receives excellent care from all of his carers. I feel I never need to worry about him as the care my dad receives is first class. If the carers have any concerns regarding his health or anything else they immediately take action and keep me fully updated. My dad is also very happy with the
care he receives and that is the most important thing to me. He wouldn't want any other company looking after him and neither would I.

Until my wife entered a care home a few days ago at the local hospital's recommendation, Hartwig went to endless trouble in looking after my wife at home (and indeed regarding also my own well-being as care/next-of-kin), and at all times did their level best to give her the best of care. They would
deploy enterprise and invention to get around new problems in her care as they arose. Hartwig's punctuality/reliability was of the highest order. I could not have asked for any better service in any respect and utter a huge 'thank you' to them.
Two other aspects worthy of mention:
Even if a new carer appeared on the scene, they were invariably already well-briefed and knowledgeable about my wife, the information flow within the Hartwig admin was clearly excellent.
Even the most senior staff at Hartwig do their fair share of care visits, and it shows at all levels.

From the start, the team at Hartwig Care helped my mother transition from independent living to accepting her need for support. The carers are well-trained, resourceful and respectful. They give personal care (showering, helping to dress, massaging legs and back) in a way my Mum actually enjoys.
They engage her in conversation and provide a sense of 'company' even though they are only there for an hour and are busy throughout. When we need to communicate, the office is staffed efficiently, and someone's there to answer our phone call, often one of the managers who is known to us. They are also kind, intelligent, perceptive, thoughtful and helpful to my sister and me.
I feel fortunate that we came upon this care company. Having dealt with many while overseeing care for my elderly father and his wife in years gone by, I can honestly say that Hartwig Care is in a different league altogether! I'm so grateful that my mum has access to this excellent service.

Excellent care for my 95-year-old mother. Very friendly and helpful carers who look after her very well and communicate any issues or problems immediately. Nothing is too much trouble for them. Would thoroughly recommend.

Hartwig Care's local office and care staff are responsive and caring. They act quickly on concerns and provide advice and support as requested. My mum enjoys talking with the carers who on the whole are efficient, effective and compassionate.
