We could not praise Agincare enough for the care and compassion shown to my mother as her health and mobility decreased very rapidly. Mum really liked all the carers who visited her. Although she was a little unsure of the male carers to begin with, she grew in confidence and soon looked forward to
every single one of them visiting. I think this was because of their professional and caring approach - they just put her at ease even for the most personal care.
The care co-ordination staff in the office were excellent, right from the very first assessment meeting. They were totally flexible about the number and type of visits as Mum was admitted to hospital and then discharge was planned on more than one occasion.
They were exceptionally reassuring to the family during the whole time they supported us. All staff should be congratulated on their professional, caring and flexible approach. I would not hesitate to recommend their services.

I have found that all carers have been most helpful and courteous. However - regarding timings - not helpful. Is it possible for me to have earlier calls in the morning? This is most important to me.

Each carer has been very helpful, all in different ways. Reassuring that someone is coming in each morning. If I need help again, I would like to use the service again.

There were a lot of different carers so little continuity. Of the 7 we saw, at least one had no experience of hoisting a disabled client so we had to teach them. The others were lovely. Our main issue was the confusion over the length of time care was required (2 weeks not 6 weeks) It took a long
time to clear up and cost us more.

Generally, the service has been reasonably good. The standard of the carers has varied from being very good to in some cases quite poor.
All carers have shown due respect to the client.

We have found our arrangement with Agincare to be considerate and caring. The management has always been willing to listen to our thoughts, feelings, and needs and has made adjustments whenever they can, to adjust to changes in our routine or requirements.
The carers have always shown genuine care
and friendship with my husband, and their visits make him smile and brighten his day. They have been patient, good-humoured, and kind, even when dealing with the less pleasant aspects of care. Many thanks.
