I've had Carrick home services for 4 years plus and feel there a fabulous company . The carers go above and beyond, I'm very grateful as I know I couldn't be in my house with out there support. The girls, including management come out to see me.
Again I can't emphasise enough how much love, care
and support I get from this company. I think carrick home services are a wonderful team and group of ladies.

My husband has young onset dementia and I have just started having a carer from Carrick Home Services come to keep him company for a couple of hours per week. The first week, he was agitated after I left but the carer did a competent job of managing his needs and his anxiety. The second week it
was a different carer and my husband was more relaxed, and he was happy when I returned and it was clear that he really enjoyed her visit because he has been talking about it since.

My mum has been cared for by Carrick Homecare for many years, including throughout Covid, when they adapted quickly and professionally to ensure her care continued safely and consistently.
The carers are kind, patient and genuinely caring. My mum has built lovely relationships with them and truly
enjoys their company, as well as the support they provide four times a day with medication and daily living tasks. She also receives companionship care, which enables her to go shopping, attend appointments and enjoy outings. As she lives with dementia and mobility difficulties, this support is invaluable.
As a family member, I have found the management team professional, empathetic and responsive. They listen carefully and act promptly to resolve any concerns. Their reassurance and reliability have made a real difference to us as a family and we would not hesitate to recommend them.

I was hesitant at first of having carers looking after my wife who is housebound and suffers from dementia but my concerns were soon put to rest by the wonderful treatment she received from office staff and the visiting carers. The empathy, consideration and understanding of the situation means a
lot to me nd the professionalism shown means I can be free for a few hours and not have to worry about her, knowing she is in good hands. The office staff are flexible with my hours and if possible will arrange them to accommodate me. Thank you Carrick for giving me a lifeline.

Carrick have been helping with my elderly mother for 2 years and I can honestly say we have been extremely pleased with the staff and service provided. It is pleasing to see and hear the pleasure my mother has and always looks forward to the staff being with her.

Carrick care looked after my Mum for 7 years and my Aunt for 3 years. They kept them both in their own homes before they went to care in November 2025.
The carers were outstanding, making extra visits , taking them to urgent appointments , checking on them out of hours and always updating me on any
change of circumstances.
I could not fault the care during a this time, as I live 175 miles away, and I would have no hesitation in recommending them to anyone who needs professional and reliable care for a relative in the Edinburgh area.
Andrea has a superb team of carers who focus on the care of their clients all day every day.
