Our family has been incredibly grateful to Home Instead for the help and care they have provided to our parents (92 and 88) these past few months. My sister and I both live in London and our parents are in Ormskirk and have had a very difficult year. We were so impressed by the speed with which
Sharon was able to visit us to set up a care package and put it into practice, and by the empathy and kindness shown towards the whole family. My parents have settled into their new routine and grown very fond of the new faces in their life. They are now getting the additional support they need both practically and emotionally. There have been a few occasions when we've needed to increase the number of visits during some difficult weeks and each time we've reached out to Sharon and the team they have responded with such willingness, flexibility, and compassion. The peace of mind it's given to me and my sister is invaluable. All the carers have been absolutely wonderful - so patient and kind!

I found the service very satisfactory, everything was taken in to account, and I feel they were very attentive to every need and all the idiosyncrasies of the individual , I was very content at what was a stressfull time that the care was covered and will definitely be calling on them again for

The service provided is excellent by both carers and office staff. All the carers are professional and show warmth and kindness, always willing to please.
The agency responds immediately to any calls made regarding changes made to daily routines, putting Mum's welfare a priority. I would have no
issues in recommending the agency to others.

I am very grateful to Home Instead West Lancashire for the care and support provided for my wife during the last two years of her life. Home Instead cared for her with dignity and respect, with positive and thoughtful staff who were well trained and confident in their work. Staff listened to my
wife's requests and responded appropriately and communicated well, with both my wife and myself on all occasions. They were able to give advice and extra support when asked and their flexible approach was welcomed.

I had two ladies over a four week period for housekeeping duties, after having a total knee op. They were both pleasant and efficient in all the tasks I asked them to carry out. Their presence was a help and comfort in what was a challenging time. I would not hesitate to use this company again if I
ever find the need to do so, also I would recommend this company to anyone looking for homecare. Thank you everyone in Home Instead (West Lancashire & Chorley) I wish you every success in the future.

My Home Instead experience has been over the last 28 months. There are small niggles, mainly over visits being too close together, but I accept that it is a flexible time taken that can vary day by day.
The carers do what it says on the tin - they care! We are fortunate that we currently receive
NHS funding but I do book respite calls most weeks. Price rises are for in excess is income and seems hand to justify.

My husband required care after I broke my wrist badly in October. I cannot fault the level of care provided by the two carers to start with and latterly by one carer. Nothing was too much trouble and my husband was treated with total respect. I would not hesitate to use them in the future.

The girls are absolutely fabulous and go above and beyond.
Mum feels so safe and relaxed and looks forward to their visit.
My sister works for a health center and has recommended Home Instead to her patients.

Our relationship with Home Instead began in early June 2024, we reached out to them to assist our family with the care of my father-in-law, Dad. From the very first interaction Home Instead demonstrated a level of understanding, professionalism and care for Dad that went above and beyond our
expectations.
Caring for an elderly family member is not easy, it's a journey with many ups and downs and one that can cause stress and tension for family members. So it was a huge relief to find such an excellent partner to support our family in caring for Dad, moreover, a partner who shared our values and has shown Dad the same care and respect that we do.
Home Instead have been unbelievably responsive to our developing care support needs and service changes as we balance the care provided by the family with that from Home Instead. All the caregivers who have attended to Dad have been excellent. The interaction of such quality people with Dad have given him a boost and improved his well-being.

What an outstanding care home provider. Work with the family to ensure the support provided meets the client's needs. Very responsive to any changes and I knew my relative was safe in their care. Not one missed visit in six years and always attended to my loved one promptly. Caring people who are
well trained and work to ensure caregivers are matched to the client. I and my loved one are grateful for all the care provided.

Very positive experience with Home Instead. Initial enquiries were dealt with promptly and in a very friendly way. This was followed up with an in-depth consultation at home to assess client needs, which was handled sensitively and with empathy. Carers were then engaged and they have been very good,
clients (parents) are very happy.

Positives; professional quality care, friendly, punctual, reliable, flexible with timing, good feedback and helpful.
Suggested improvement; as one hour visit of two people is not always needed, allow for 30 or 45 minute visits of one to two care professionals to improve value for money.

Absolutely outstanding.
Initially Mum was reluctant to have carers looking after her but the Home Instead carers took the time to earn her trust and form a relationship in which she felt safe, valued as an individual and respected as a person. She soon started to look forward to visits and thought
they were wonderful. The time spent caring for Mum's needs was always on time and never rushed. We had an app that updated us and the Home Instead wider team after each visit. When Mum's health took a turn for the worse they acted immediately to adjust her care package and to advise and support us access all the support available for Mum from the NHS. This was invaluable.
It was truly a holistic care package that was provided by Home Instead, second to none and we have no hesitation in saying Mum had the very best care we could have wished for in the final weeks of her life. Thank you to everyone from us all.

All of the ladies are friendly and happy to do what Mum suggests. They ask her what she wants to do. Mum feels well looked after when they are out, she feels safe, they see her in and out of the house, check that she locks up each time.
Mum is happy with the way things are.

The service provided has been proffessional and reliable. The app is great for reviewing visits, scheduled visits and carer comments.
We feel comfortable with the care received for my father.
We were promised a small team of carers so Dad would build up a rapport with them, this hasn't happened.
There are many carers, most are great but some are less so. He prefers two of them in particular.
