We recently had a review with Bluebird, my mother was there together with three of her daughters including me. Everything went very well, a few suggestions were put forward by us as well as the member of staff conducting the review. We and my mother (the client) expressed how pleased we are with the
overall service provided by bluebird, hence the five star review. All members of staff are always respectful, friendly and courteous

My aunt Christine had very complex care needs following a major stroke 3 years ago and then untreatable cancer. She could not walk with the loss of use of her right side , and her speech very much compromised.
She needed 4 care visits per day handling all areas of nutrition, personal care,
housekeeping and companionship. She was a very independent person and adamant that she wanted to stay out of a care home. On the face of it, a challenging commission for Bluebird. An independent , private person who needed a high level of very personal care.
I have immense appreciation for the work Bluebird did for her.
A really friendly, approachable team -from management to carers. Very very professional and down to earth practical.
Her last few months have been very difficult but she died in January ,at home, as she wanted.
The care on her last day was extraordinary.
They do more than just do their job well. They truly focus a huge range of skills on meeting the needs of their client. Excellent

Mum is very happy with the service provided by Bluebird. One or two problems have been recently resolved and all is well. The care staff are very kind and excellent in every way.

I have assistance each morning to help get washed, dressed and breakfasted. All the carers are cheerful and ask how I am. I'm always asked if I've taken my medication. We all have a good routine and I'm always asked if there is anything else I would like them to do. Overall a very good continuous
experience.

We have had an excellent experience working with Bluebird Care during what has been a stressful time for both my mother and our family. After Mum was diagnosed with stage 4 cancer in May, we contacted Bluebird to enquire about their in-home care services. Right from the get-go, Bluebird has been
professional and supportive. Our first meeting with our local Bluebird manager really set our minds at rest and allowed us to ask questions about the care process - the manager was so knowledgeable and was hugely generous with her time, allowing Mum to feel really listened to. Mum looks forward to seeing all of the care staff and they have treated her with dignity and warmth. Importantly, Bluebird are keen to ensure Mum is getting the best care possible and is quick to act if any changes are needed.
We highly recommend Bluebird to those looking for quality care as they have a genuine desire to provide the best quality of care for those in need.

My mother has been under the care of Bluebird for a considerable time now l find the office team very helpful and professional. The Management team listens, supports, and tries to offer an excellent Service. The Carers who look after my mother is experienced, dedicated, and trained well in the area
of my mother's illness which is more specialised and very important to me.
Rightfully so l have a high expectation of a private Care Company and Bluebird does deliver.

Excellent service from Bluebird Care. Professional, caring staff, enable Mum to live in her own home. Good communication between staff and family. Very pleased with the service and can highly recommend the service.

My elderly mother has had the support of Bluebird Care for two years now and has been very pleased with the support she has been given. The carers have been very friendly and supportive, taking on the daily tasks Mum just cannot do anymore because of her physical condition. One or two carers have
become friends, in her eyes, which makes such a difference to her daily mood and sense of value and purpose. The flexibility of the provider is highly valued and we work closely with our contact to ensure good communication all-round. Our only criticism is that occasionally a carer has arrived outside of the allocated time - not a great problem but not ideal for many reasons, although this is rare. We think that the cost is expensive, probably at the top end for the care being provided and this is the only reason we have not awarded a five-star rating. Thank you to Bluebird Care for their invaluable ongoing care and support.

Service provided is good and professional, which is what one would expect from a company such as Bluebird Care.
Staff, ono the whole, go out of their way to help and assist, where necessary, without being over-intrusive.

It is my pleasure to write a well-deserved positive review for the Bluebird Care team in Newark.
As a family group, we were able to secure the services, for the first time, of Bluebird Care for our 92-year-old mother, who was recently discharged from the hospital. From what we have experienced so
far, in just six weeks, one of the aims of Bluebird is to try and keep the number of carers for each client down to a minimum to allow the client to receive continuity of care with familiar faces around them. We think this is most important for an elderly person who has had no prior experience in accepting help from professional care organisations.
All our communications with Bluebird Care have been professionally dealt with, and responses quickly received. To date, any issues raised during a carer's visit have been communicated to us in a timely manner to enable a swift resolution. Nothing is too much trouble for the team, both front-line and office-based, and we're pleased we found you.

Bluebird has been very reliable, helpful, sensitive and caring while looking after my husband who has Dementia. They came in the evenings to get him into bed and give him his medication to give me a break. They also come one afternoon a week and do a variety of activities with him and he greatly
enjoys their company. I will definitely use them again.

My wife's medical issues are complex, however, the regular team of carers have the understanding, experience and appropriate bedside manner to deal with most eventualities. This has been demonstrated over the past 12-months, in particular, providing extra care/liaising with district nurses with
respect to the management of pressure sore, which in turn, with their support, has now healed, alongside day to day routines they remain vigilant and aware at all times.

My mum has been fortunate enough to be cared for by the Bluebird team for several years now. The standard of care she receives from the front line carers and the office team is professional, compassionate, well organised, and efficient. As is the communication and interaction with the family, this
is a true example of a care team and family working together to ensure the best possible outcome for our mum. Mum, at 90 now, is happy living alone in her own home. She is only able to do this, with the complex needs that she has, because of the exceptional care that she receives from Bluebird care.
I also have 9 years experience of in dealing with 3 different care providers in a neighbouring local authority. In all this time non of them have delivered the consistently high standards that I have encountered with Bluebird.
