Bluebird Care looked after my uncle for three years before he recently moved into a care home, providing four visits a day during the last year. As we don't live nearby, they became our eyes and ears when it came to his wellbeing. Throughout that time they were extremely helpful and highly
dependable.
Being able to see the care notes in the app after each visit was very reassuring, and communication with the management team was always accessible, friendly, caring and efficient.
They may be more expensive than some other providers, but the quality of care they deliver is excellent, so you do get value for money.
A hearfelt thanks to all at Bluebird - you made all our lives easier.

My Mum had live in carers from Bluebird Care for 2 and half years. The care she recieved was exceptional. Every carer had Mum's best interests to heart. They all formed a bond with Mum. The way Bluebird Care organised everything took a lot of the pressure off us as Mum's family. We knew Mum was in
safe hands and being look after to highest standard, it meant we could once again be a family and not carers. I would hole hearted recommend Bluebird Care to look after your loved ones.

As a family we have called upon the care and support offered by Bluebird a number of times over the last three years. Firstly to care for my Step Mum as she approached the end of her life and more recently to care for my Dad as he again approached the end of his life.
The Bluebird ladies are more
than simply carers, they become friends and at the hardest time of life they are invaluable. The support, care, compassion and empathy they offered both my Step Mum, Dad and us as a family was incredible. This is a very special group of ladies.
We thank them all for being on the journey with us and have nothing but praise for them all.

A few years ago Bluebird provided exceptional care at home for my Mother who suffered from dementia, when my father was unable to manage himself - they were very accommodating and he was able to adjust the frequency of visits as her needs changed. More recently they assisted my Mother's live-in
carer three times per day, enabling her to remain at home until she was admitted to hospital. During this time they highlighted any concerns immediately and dealt with them promptly. They cared for my Mother at the end of her life with kindness and compassion, which was a huge comfort to all the family knowing that she was receiving the best possible care.

Blue Bird have been absolutely fantastic helping to care for my mother. We used them three years ago and had no hesitation coming back when we needed help again.
They have a flexible approach to their care packages which tailors it to the needs of the patients, and all the carers are lovely.

Bluebird carers have been visiting our 92 yr old Uncle for just over 3 years now, to provide him with a hot lunchtime meal and drink, and to do light chores if time allows. He has always looked forward to seeing them and having a chat while lunch was in the microwave. They have always been
courteous and understanding of the difficulty he has hearing them and he has enjoyed seeing someone pop in. This has also given us peace of mind that someone is visiting and keeping an eye on him as we don't live close to him. Where the carers have been concerned about his health, they have gone above & beyond to contact his GP for a home visit.
Sadly, after a spell in the hospital, the time has now come for him to need more care than can be offered at home, so he is moving to a care home. He'll miss them, but it will free up some time for someone else to benefit from the Bluebird services.

The Bluebird carers have been very kind to my mother, highlighting that increased care was needed, to management and 7 day (2 visits a day) is now in place. This gives peace of mind to my mother and us. I cannot fault the care that is provided.

I can not recommend Bluebird care more highly, I have only had care from them since April but am so glad that they are my care provider. Not only do they care about the personal care they support me with, which has been excellent but they also care about me as a whole person. I suffer with my mental
health and have been in a bad depressive state for a few months now and Bluebird care have supported me totally from my carers to management. Phoning, texting and personal visits checking that I am okay. If you are looking for care I don't think that you could do better than employing Bluebird to take care of your needs.

Treated with care and interest. There was at times a slight problem with over-long gaps between visits.

The staff at Bluebird Care are fantastic.
My mum has dementia and diabetes and has eyesight issues. I can't recommend them enough for the work and support they do. Very grateful to have had them. So thankful.

My mum has had Bluebird Care for 6 months and they have been polite and respectful during this time. Their app is really helpful. They have been charged with giving mum her evening medication and have been very reliable in this task.

I cannot rate Bluebird Care highly enough. Their support and compassion made a huge difference to me at a very difficult time, and their standard of care goes above and beyond. I am amazed at how much they care about the people in their charge.

All Bluebird Care carers were kind and helpful to my parents. They worked very hard all the time they were at the house. It was easy to contact the office, even at weekends. One small criticism is that carers often had to be shown how to work basic appliances. Perhaps more training could be given in
this area.

The care that my wife had during April and the beginning of May was first-class. They were kind and considerate and gave excellent care throughout whilst maintaining a cheerful smile and attitude towards us both.

Bluebird provided excellent care for my aunt; carers always went above and beyond to make sure she was happy, well cared for and had all her needs met.
My aunt was always happy and the excellent care she received meant that she was able to remain in her own home, with her cat, which was really
important to my aunt. The carers knew her well, treated her as an individual, and always kept her best interests at the centre of everything they did.

We were lucky enough to have Bluebird arrange my Mum’s care during the last eighteen months of her life. She was a very independent woman, so the idea of a carer was at first difficult for her to entertain. But the care she received from Bluebird was great. As a family we felt totally supported and
that our darling mum was always treated with the utmost respect and dignity. Bluebird spent time and thought matching her with the right carer, and her respite care was also top-notch. As a company Bluebird is great to deal with, nothing is too much trouble for them, and you always get a swift and very personable response if you have a problem or query. We feel grateful that Bluebird flew in to look after our beloved mum at this important chapter of her life.”

We have been using Bluebird Care agency to look after Mum, who has severe dementia, for approximately two years.
We have always found the staff to be kind and helpful and the carers are generally very good.
They do their best to keep Mum happy, cared for and well.

We have used Bluebird Care for a year now. The organisation has helped bring stability to our parent's home and the live-in help coupled with the domiciliary care means we can increase and decrease the care as the needs of my parents change. The management of the carers themselves and the
interaction of the managers with my parents (and ourselves) was very good at the start and has since tailed off, with one of the managers, which my parents particularly liked, leaving and that post does not seem to have been replaced. The live-in carer my parents had for the first year was new to Bluebird and was ok but there were enough issues that it was clear for a number of months that a change of carer was needed - it took time to get a change as the company is small so there is not the pool of carers to choose from. However, a new carer has now started and it's going well. Some of the domiciliary carers are brilliant and my parents have loved it when they have covered the live-in carer holidays.

We couldn't wish for better care, both from the company and the carers. They are all magnificent! Everyone that comes to the house is cheerful and completely willing to do anything, either for my husband's personal care, or domestic tasks for me. And with familiarity, I seldom have to explain or
even ask.

Bluebird ladies are the most caring and helpful people.
They treated my husband with the utmost care. He was always left clean and they were.
Discreet and always with a cheerful smile. They also asked about my welfare which was so kind.
Sadly my husband died in February 2024.
