We have been very impressed with the service and staff at Home Instead. We were recommended them and we would now too. Communications for my sister and I and also the level of care and support the actual care givers bring to Mum to help her and keep her independent is such a big thing for us and we trust the staff and know exactly how much we will be charged at the end of each month. Even when we have phoned they always answer and always get back to us quickly. Any thing they are concerned about they phone us - I expect we would be hard pressed to find a better facility - from initial meeting at Mums home and through out - thank you ladies.

Home Instead proved to be a wonderful discovery. They have provided care visits to my elderly father-in-law over a period of approximately two years, starting out with one carer visiting a few times per week to a stage where we had 2-3 visits every day. They provided wonderful support in terms of companionship, medication supervision, meal prep, some cleaning and various other tasks. They were very flexible in terms of being able to accommodate our changing needs for care. This care service has been extremely valuable to us as we live 275 miles away from my father-in-law, and their care allowed him to live at home which is what he wanted rather than go into a care home. The various care staff were all wonderful - I had the chance to meet many of them when father-in-law was admitted to hospital. Sadly he died in there but the staff continued to provide support right to the very end. They may not be the cheapest company but I suspect they are the very best. Very satisfied with them.

Mum and Dad shared live in carers and were able to stay together in their home for the final year of their 72 year marriage. When Mum died staff was superb and supported the whole family. We decided to keep Dad at home with one to one care, allowing him space to grieve whilst being well cared for.

Home Instead have provided an excellent, professional service for my mum since day one. All the care pro's have mums best interests at heart and do their best to make mum feel at ease and comfortable. They listen to her and are patient no matter what her frame of mind. They have given me piece of mind that mum is being well cared for when I am not around. All care providers are given regular and relevant training on mums equipment and catheter.

Generally I am very satisfied with the level of support The carers are hard working and flexible but more importantly friendly and communicative It is easy to regard them as friends rather than paid help My dealings with the office staff have always been cordial and productive.

We have used Home Instead for a considerable time and have always been grateful for the professionalism, empathy and responsiveness of the team. Due to dementia, my mum's behaviour can be unpredictable and challenging, and the Home Instead team has appreciated the issues this presents, making changes to the schedule and selecting carers carefully to meet her needs. Our carers have always been punctual, kind, respectful and caring, and have kept us informed of their visits. We are extremely grateful for their support.

My mum was very against having care professionals in due to her independence but because of illness and a period in hospital and respite she was advised by a doctor that care should be provided. We were recommended Home Instead and had an initial consultation to discuss our needs. Mum was introduced to her first care professional and could not be happier, she has developed such a great bond with the carer and then the following care professionals that were introduced to her. They can't do enough for mum and has really eased the the pressure on the family because we feel comfortable and happy that mum is very well looked after and always inform us if they have any concerns over mums health. They have been wonderful and very helpful. They always go over and beyond. I would highly recommend Home Instead for anyone looking for private care.

Lovely carers and flexible service to meet needs. A particular member of staff is fantastic , nothing is too much trouble and I feel my mum is in safe hands. It does cost a lot when self-funding but probably the same as most organizations

Overall the carers for dad go above and beyond our expectations and past experience with other care providers. We are pleased that they are reliable and on time with their care. They do what is requested of them in the care and companionship of dad.

I contacted Home Instead in September as my mother could no longer cook for herself. By the beginning of October we were up and running. She had 3 carers who took it in turns to cook for her at the time we wanted and they were there for an hour and able to keep the kitchen clean, wash towels and bedding, put the rubbish out and sort the recycling. Care was increased at the end of January with an hour in the morning to help with showering and breakfast. From the request to the first morning call was less that 24 hours - amazing! We have a few more carers now there are about 6 regular ones. Mum is very happy with them and laughs and jokes with them. I have a go to person, in the organisation who is able to support what is needed. She always responds to calls and emails. The carers are very good and nothing is too much trouble. It is obvious how much they like my mum and she responds positively to them. I would highly recommend Home Instead.

My 89 yr old Dad has been receiving 3 x 1hr visits per week since Dec 2024. We are extremely happy with Home Instead as a very flexible care provider. My Dad is still very independent and this is helping him to remain that way and it has hugely helped me as a daughter to be more of a daughter and not a carer who is always feeling concerned or responsible for his needs. This helps to preserve a good relationship with my Dad. We began the visits because I was going away on a long 6 week holiday and I needed that reassurance and that was the only reason Dad agreed - he didn't think he needed it of course! The best thing is that he is enjoying the visits and developing a bond with his care providers and he is able to decide when they arrive what he wants them to do so he is still in control. I can make suggestions and his visits always check my list of concerns or guidelines, but Dad is central to their visits and what he needs or wants. I would thoroughly recommend HI and all the staff

Great service when my Mum was ill with a chest infection, they made sure she was well cared for, accompanied her to hospital to make sure she was safe and careful handover to Emergency Dept. Care was taken to gather essentials for a stay in hospital just in case. Greatly reassuring to know such care and attention provided. Thank you

The communication with staff at all levels in organisation has been excellent from day 1 and we've been able to get to a point where the package of care is working extremely well. Mam has a core team working around her which gives her consistency and routine in her care which is really important for somebody living with dementia and reassuring for family When a new carer is put on the rota, they always shadow an existing carer so they get to know mams routine/needs - it is this level of service that makes home instead stand out amongst other providers. The carers go above and beyond in their care of mam and you can really see the dedication they have in carrying out their roles always making sure that mam is safe, well and can make choices when she is able to do so.

Excellent service! Two staff members in particular are professional, efficient, and friendly. Mum looks forward to their visits and she trusts them completely. She comments on how well they look after her personal care . One lady recently looked after mum on a visit realising some thing was wrong and called the paramedics whilst I was at work. She made sure she was comfortable and safe until mysekf and the medics arrived. Thank you so much

Home Instead has been amazing with my mum. They helped make a lot of changes at home to keep her safe, and the carers have been so supportive every step of the way. She really enjoys their company and looks forward to their visits. It's such a relief knowing she's in safe, caring hands. I'd highly recommend them to anyone needing home care for a loved one

I started to use HomeInstead in October 2024 for both my mum and dad and immediately felt at ease with a highly professional and well trained team, as a nurse myself their CQC rating of outstanding was my reason for choice and I can see why, the team are flexible, understanding, empathetic and following the death of my father they have helps me and my mum navigate a new way of living in a safe enjoyable environment for my mam and provide peace of mind for me, the team of ladies who help me care for mam are outstanding and a perfect fit for her and the management team are responsive and always willing to help if my needs change at short notice, the fact that I am able to care for my mum at home is down to the support Homeinstead give.

Home instead staff and management provide an excellent home care service. They are always have a friendly supportive manner in person and on the phone. I would not manage to keep my Dad at home without them as he relies on family and carers for all care needs. I did try to manage all his care on my own and also juggle a full time job which became quite challenging for my mental health. I can even have a little holiday now and feel relaxed that he's in good hands.

The care I have received has been excellent, without which I would not have recovered so positively. All the carers I have engaged with have been of the highest quality - communicating, listening, sensitive, supportive, responsive, personable, genuine and caring. I couldn't have asked for much more. They are all true stars, but with a special mention to the two who have been with me throughout - you deserve all the praise and recognition and a heartfelt thankyou. On the one or two occasions arrangements had to be amended I was communicated with and asked for permission in advance, which I was happy to support.

Home Instead Cleveland supported in-care home for my mother for 3 years until she passed. Without them, my mother would have been in a care home long before that. She wanted to stay in her own home until she died and so she had her wish. Home Instead gave a caring, personal and well-managed service. It was flexible at short notice and able to provide increasing levels of support as my mother's needs increased. Can't speak highly enough about their support service.
