Provided a flexible and knowledgeable service that meet my mother's needs.
Always professional and able to adapt to the requirements of the client.
The team nearly always provided transportation that meet the requirements.

Home Instead provided excellent home support and personal care to my elderly mother and kept her living independently longer than would have otherwise been possible. I only stopped the service when she had to go into residential care.
The fact that a suitable carer was found and matched to Mum
meant there was a good affinity from the beginning. The same carer being there the majority of the visits was one of the reasons I picked Home instead, to begin with, and this worked very well for me. The cover was always given by the same people too which helped mum and didn't distress her or make her anxious as she got to know them all and they her and her routines.
Having a team leader to go to with any queries or concerns was also helpful and they could also be back up to visit when sickness or unexpected issues arose.
The other key factor I considered when choosing a carer was timings as Mum needed routine and the fact that the agreed times were always stuck to was beneficial.

Home Instead provided outstanding care for my mum during her worsening health. Her carer went over and above to not only support my Mum, but the whole family as well. Home Instead were empathetic and flexible, adapting the care arrangements to suit my mum's changing needs. They truly are

Home Instead (Greenwich & Bexley) provided my 91-year-old mother with carers while she was recuperating after a car accident. My mother lives alone, and my sisters and I all work and live at a distance, so we needed carers who could call in daily. The office managers (one in particular) made sure
they understood Mum's needs and went to great lengths to match her with suitable carers who could visit at our preferred times. Her two carers were both superb - friendly, professional, punctual, caring and kind. Everyone at Home Instead was very supportive and reassuring throughout Mum's recuperation, and I highly recommend them.

I have been using Home Instead for a few months now and have been very pleased with the care and support of both Mum and myself throughout. Her care hadn't been easy as her needs have changed regularly. Management has always been able to put extra care in when necessary at short notice and haven't
minded when I phone them loads of times a day to check things. The care is compassionate and I like the fact that where possible carers that she knows are found.

With the dedicated loving care and attention over several years from all the carers and office staff involved in looking after my mum she was able to remain in her own home until her death, which was really important to her.
I am particularly indebted to all the carers who visited Mum, but
especially the regular ones who came week after week and whose patience and kindness never ceased.

My elderly mother has had a local Home Instead carer for the past two months. On every visit, her carer is cheerful, kind, punctual and efficient. She always treats my mum with respect. Her housework skills are wonderful. She always remembers the small details. Mum and her carer have become friends
easily and Mum looks forward to her visits. The carer is becoming a family friend. It is wonderful for us to know Mum is so well supported.

The service I receive from the carers is always excellent. They are prepared to work hard if required, ie wash floors, cook, iron clothes, put the washing out on the line, do some local shopping if needed.

My mother who had dementia looked forward to having her daily visit from a carer. They also went one step beyond to support my mother by talking to her on the telephone and always had the time to talk to her. Through Home Instead (Greenwich & Bexley) we managed to keep my mother in her home with
their support until she needed twenty four hour care. I was so glad I chose them.

The care that my mother receives is fantastic, the care givers respect her preferences, are proactive in addressing any potential problems and she thinks the service is fantastic. The flexibility the service offers is amazing, they even managed an extra visit to get her ready and to a funeral that
she wanted to attend. It is a relief to me that I am confident that the service will contact me if there are any concerns and we work together to address them. So grateful that a friend recommended Home Instead (Greenwich & Bexley).

I am always delighted and impressed with the excellent quality of service from Home Instead. All the staff I have interacted with are professional, compassionate, organized and competent. Any questions/requests I have are replied to promptly. Their insight and expertise is an asset. My mum looks
forward to her visits from her Carer, who is friendly, skilful, patient and respectful at all times.

Home Instead was able to provide urgent overnight care for my uncle at very short notice. We were thankful that they were able to visit us that very day and put everything in place. We were immensely relieved, and the peace of mind was priceless.

My relative changed to Home Instead after receiving services from another agency. From our work as health care professionals, my partner and I are aware of the issues and needs of an elderly person with disabilities living alone at home. We were constantly worried leaving our relative alone at
home with his previous care providers.
Now, we are confident that his emotional, as well as practical and physical needs, are being met. His Home Instead CAREgivers are genuinely interested in him as a person, and physical aspects of care are delivered to maintain his dignity - he felt like an object with his previous agency.
He told us, 'I am happy with the service I receive, and I feel very relaxed'. Home Instead's charges are higher than his previous provider, but fortunately, he has income and savings to meet these costs, and the services he receives are an investment in his physical and mental health. With Home Instead, he is able to experience companionship and enjoyment.

Excellent service. One key positive is the continuity of the carer. My father in law always knows the carer who will be looking after him. This is very important as it builds excellent relationships. The management are excellent, always easy to contact if necessary.

Home Instead were recommended to us when my mum, at the age of 99, required assistance in bathing. To start with a carer would visit once a week to bath mum but as her needs increased over a 13 month period so it became necessary to increase the contact hours from Home Instead, so that just before
mum entered her nursing home she was receiving 2 hours care a day.
My experience of Home Instead was entirely positive; the carers were professional, sympathetic to my mum's needs, always punctual and would go way beyond the strict job description to assist in whatever way they could. The front-line staff were ably backed up by those in the office, who always responded quickly to my mum's changing needs.
I grew to rely heavily on the expertise of both the carers and office staff of Home Instead for advice with regard to looking after my mum and I am able to recommend the company unreservedly.
