We were impressed - professional, local, flexible. Staff were prompt, reliable, engaged relative in interesting chats. Gave an 88 year old widow opportunity for discussion, while monitoring safety, mood and medications. Family portal app quick, easy to use and very helpful.

I can honestly say these are the best care company we have had to look after our family member, who can be stubborn not rude but each carer is very good with him, we had past care that was questionable to say it nicely not covering days or hours that should have been, cura have not let us down on
any care or call, very accommodating to our needs, carers always happy to help, can honestly say he doesn't mind now having to use carers.
Management always happy to help even if it is last minute cancellation, he is a happy person as much as can be due to the team work.

Excellent care, can't fault it in any way . Wouldn't hesitate to recommend .
Staff very kind and thoughtful and always on time unless circumstances beyond their control .
Also very well organised by office, feel they all support each other so it's a real team effort

We have been more than happy with the service provided by Cura Homecare over this past year. They are like a life-line to us. We are treated with dignity and respect and kindness, respond and adapt to any changing health needs and always try to be flexible when we need to change timings. As my
husband's carer, the weekly respite care allows me to have some time for myself. I always feel reassured that my husband is in safe hands and is receiving the best possible care. He always enjoys his time with the carers who are engaging and helpful, ensuring his needs are met. When time allows, they are always willing to help out with household chores and have always done an excellent job. We appreciate everything you do for us.

My Dad is very happy with both people that come to him twice a week, he said they are both nice, polite and friendly 'good as gold' he says. They turn up on time and have made a difference to my life as a daughter as it has taken the pressure off me and I have peace of mind that Dad is being treated
well.

In one word to describe cura home care OUTSTANDING
The care manager goes above and beyond to make sure the clients are heard.
When ever I have asked to make changes to my care plan the care manager implemented all the changes seamlessly.

Your team take care of my mum and step mum and my late father. They were marvelous with my dying dad and made it easier for him especially his last weeks. Very caring profession and never say no to what is asked of them.
It is a weight off my mind knowing someone is there for my parents seeing I
live in another country and your management team go above and beyond to assist any of my questions at all times.
It was difficult to get my parents to accept help but due to the friendly helpful natural of the carers they have accepted the help they so need. Thanks to all your team. Chippenham branch carers. Thanks

I feel Cura Homecare have been exceptional stepping up and organising care for my wife so that she was able to come home to us in time for Christmas. All of the carers have been so nice and very helpful. They are all more than willing to do so much to help, even if it is just having a chat to my
wife. It has all been very daunting for both of us but Cura Homecare have made it easy for us.

We find the large number of carers difficult as discussed. A limited rota would be preferable. So far all staff have been pleasant and willing. Sometimes more reactive than proactive. Sometimes late arrivals are not added onto the time at the end.

Very happy with care received from all staff members, who are very caring and considerate. Very highly recommended if anyone should require care in their own home. Staff always very polite and understanding.

Overall the service is excellent. We've had a few hiccups along the way but thanks to the wonderful office staff, the issues have been addressed. Myself and my mum look forward to many more years with Cura Homecare.

Very good with my husband and he likes one lady a lot; he may not remember her from one visit to the next, but always tells me, "she is a lovely lady". I have no concerns when they take him out or I leave him in their care.

I was a service user four years ago and had no second thoughts about who to turn to when I needed help again. All my carers are friendly and caring. I would definitely recommend Cura Homecare to anyone.

Cura Homecare staff are always very polite and friendly. They give a wonderful service that our family could not do without. They all provide an exceptionally high standard of care and are always very professional whilst still being fun in sometimes challenging situations when my daughter has her
own ideas.

We have always found any little problems we have encountered have been dealt with efficiently and courteously.
All the staff are very caring and nothing is too much trouble for them.

Initially, this company provided a good service, both the admin and caring staff were kind and responsive on the whole. There were a few exceptions to some of the caring staff who we found to be very non-talkative and seemed to lack empathy and communication skills. These are the ones who we felt
just came in and did the bare minimum without any genuine concern or want to connect with the client. But many were really wonderful with Mum to the point she did request that they be regular carers for her if possible. Then when the new owners took over the quality of carers declined. Also, there seemed to be an increasing difficulty in trying to get extra dates covered. I do appreciate that Cura Care did appear to do what they could to help our often changing requirements but sadly overall I feel the general service from too many of the carers towards the end of our time with them, just wasn't the standard we hoped for.

I don’t live particularly near to my father, so it was important to have a reliable care company who communicate regularly with us so we are aware of Dad’s needs. Efficient communication and person-centred care. We are very happy with the service Dad receives from Cura.

I have found each of the carers that I have come into contact with to be helpful and friendly. They have been very kind to my uncle and have not been at all phased by his eccentricities.
He has never liked people coming into his home but seems to have settled into the routine of having the carers
in 3 times a day - I can only put this down to the carers kindness and attitude towards him.
I know what difficult work it is caring for others, so I am extremely grateful for all that Uncle's care team do.

My experience with Cura Homecare has been outstanding. They were referred to me by the local clinic and responded very quickly to my invitation. My mother was very reluctant for anyone to come into the house on a daily basis but was quickly put at ease by the team who came to make the initial
assessment and everything has continued to run smoothly since then. I was on hand to observe the first few weeks of service and was impressed both by the quality of care and the training that was being given to new staff by those with more experience. The diversity of the team is an asset, giving my mother a variety of different people to talk to. I appreciate that the company is relatively small and that there has to be some flexibility in the timing of visits but the service is reliable, quick to respond to changes in medication and needs and forthcoming in providing information. Highly recommended.
