The care and dedication that the Home Instead Wigan team provided for mum over the past few years enabled her to continue to live independently as per her wishes, which she could not have done without their excellent help and support.
Staff members were excellent, dedicated and caring.

I am very grateful for the care and responsiveness of the Home Instead team who reacted quickly to get our mum help when she was unable to walk. They contacted my brother who called emergency services and she was rushed to hospital to get the care she needed. Since the event the Home Instead team
have been very accommodating to change/add shifts often at short notice, to provide Mum with the ongoing and increased care she now needs. Hats off and thank you to the team!

Good communication by all staff. We get the service we pay for. Lovely carers. My relative loves them all especially one staff member in particular. We are more than happy. Very professional, and go the extra mile. They have made such a difference to us.

Great service and excellent management of a temporary contract required at very little notice. Staff were lovely, attentive, very friendly and most helpful. Will be using Home Instead again I am sure.

I have been using Home Instead services for three years now. I found them very helpful when caring for my late husband's needs showing compassion and consideration all through. I have no complaints regarding my present daycare. I have consistency with a regular carer and find her very helpful
considerate and obliging. Overall I am very satisfied with the care provided.

I have only the highest praise for all the carers that came in to my home to look after my husband. They were empathetic, caring and respectful to my husband’s needs. I can only say thank you to everyone that cared for him, although it was only for a short time they spoke to him and treated him like
they knew him. I am also grateful for the time they spent with me they listened to me and advised me. All in all, they were all wonderful and caring human beings. It really is a wonderful thing that strangers can be so kind not only for the patient but for the partner of the patient. I told the girls on the last visit to my husband how much I appreciate their kindness and support.

Home Instead has been excellent with Mum. She has developed a great friendship with her carers who always treat her with care and dignity. Nothing is too much trouble for them. And most importantly Mum is very happy and feels safe with them. Having them in place also provides peace of mind for
family members knowing someone is going first thing in the morning, lunch and dinner. They always make sure she has at least one hot meal a day and has everything she needs before they leave. We as a family would be lost without them.

Home Instead have been providing support to Mum for over a year now and we are really happy with the level of service that they provide. The care plan is detailed and available to all staff and regular carers are provided which is important as mum has dementia. The plan is regularly evaluated and
any updates are completed efficiently.
All the staff arrive promptly and are friendly. I really like that I can read what Mum has done during the day on the app and see pictures of her too.
The office staff are supportive and efficient and keep in regular touch.
Home Instead has meant that Mum has been able to stay in her own home and keep her independence. It has also enabled me to have some respite on a regular basis.

High-quality care, professionally delivered, from all involved - the carer, the care coordinator and the office and managerial staff. My Mum is very happy with the service. It has been good to have home visits from the coordinator to review the service provision. I feel my mum matters to them.

We're very happy with the services of Home Instead. The staff are always punctual, efficient and friendly. They're also quick to point out any changes to my husband's skin or the onset of any pressure sore. Communication is clear with the office and they are always happy to accommodate where
possible, any last-minute requests for extra visits.
I wouldn't hesitate to recommend the company to family and friends.

Home Instead has been contracted to look after Mum now for over 2 years. The level of care has increased and become more complex over this time. I cannot thank the office team and the hands-on care team enough for their support of Mum and our goal to keep her in her own home for as long as possible.
This is becoming more challenging as the illness progresses. Home Instead have adapted and generally coped very well with the changes in care and support required and working closely with the family. It's not an easy profession to be in and takes a lot of heart and caring to do it well. Home Instead is doing it well. Bless you all and please keep it up. Thank you.

Within a short time, the positive difference that these lovely carers have made to my grandfather is obvious to see. Not only do they have a pragmatic and useful approach to home care but also take time to understand what makes their client happy and engaged. He has always been a little suspicious
and dismissive of carers but has quickly developed a rapport and now I believe he looks forward to their visits! The team listened very carefully to our family's ideas and concerns and have built their visits around these issues. I am very grateful for their support and I would have no hesitation at all in recommending them to anyone looking for family support.

Not a bad word to say, the team build here in Wigan is remarkable and I would recommend it to any potential service user and anyone looking to build a career in the care sector.
Even after the services ended they take the duty of care seriously and I thank the entire team.

Home Instead have been involved with care arrangements for us for over a year. Initially, the care was for my wife, but now for me.
We both have a wonderful rapport with the carers. They arrived promptly, are very friendly band happy to assist with numerous tasks around the house.
The office
staff are very friendly, and communicative and have been incredibly helpful in offering support during the occasional emergency situation.
We have no hesitation in recommending this company.

Home Instead are excellent with the care and support they provide. The carers take time to do all the necessary talks and are really friendly. Mum looks forward to the twice-daily visits. Would recommend it to anyone.

As my mum's health deteriorates - she becomes more frail, I know Home Instead (Wigan) fills the gap where necessary - washing, light cooking - baking.
My mum loves being able to bake with help from home Instead).
All this help keeps my mum in her own home which as a family we want to do as long
as possible.
She couldn't manage with the care from her ladies (nor could I).

From the moment I met the manager from Home Instead I felt that she had my father's best interest in mind.
We was about to embark on our honeymoon to Bali and the manager upon meeting my dad recommended my dad had respite care whilst we were away. So he had around the clock care for him and myself
and my husband had total peace of mind.
As in addition, we set up visits from Home Instead for my dad to go visit his chickens and to see his home was safe and so have his favourite ice-cream in his favourite place.
The staff treated my dad so well and he looked forward to his trips out with them whilst we was away.
As a family, we were all incredibly impressed by the service and care Home Instead provided, and we can't thank them enough for taking such good care of my dad.
We will definitely be using them again in the future and we highly recommend them.
