1- Numerous calls to complain about the standard of care, calls never returned.
2- Security: porch door and back door frequently left open despite carers being told numerous times to lock back door and close porch door. A sign has even been put on porch door.
3- Hygiene standards: Washing up
bowl used for personal care despite a bowl specifically assigned for this purpose.
4- Personal care needs not met.
5- Mother was left for 24 hours with no care during bad weather, left sat in a kitchen chair. No call made to son or daughter to say carers would not be attending.
6- Dirty washing put in the tumble dryer and not washing machine, although signs have been put on machines to say which is which.
7- Commode emptied in toilet and excrement left around the toilet bowl and in the sink.

I have been using Care XY for 3 weeks now, who provide care for my mom. My Mom suffers from mental health problems and because of this, due to circumstances beyond my control, my Mom reported me to the Police, which resulted in me not being able to go into my Mom's property, even though I have done
nothing wrong. The lady at Care XY has treated me with the utmost compassion, is always at the end of the phone (even out of hours) and without her support this weekend, I don't know what I would've done. She is so professional and is able to have the interests of both my Mom and myself and sort out a resolution to any problem/query in the fairest way. This lady has been amazing and I cannot thank her enough.
